  • Hmm....I'm not a big fan..... aside from the epic cello.

  • Are these two different songs? When I look up the lyrics on Google, I get some under A Retinue of Moons and some under The Infidel is Me. Are they different songs put together so they sound like the same one, or what? Either way it's amazing, but I am a tad confused.

  • @ShimmerEspeon They ARE the same song.

  • AMAZING voice, lyrics, and cello work

  • what a howler. melora is my preference.

  • Rasputina's music will one day be considered the best of their time.

  • Fucking awesome. Just started listening to them a few days ago and I've gotten so stuck on "the Holocaust of Giants", I've literally been listening to it over and over. But methinks I might have found a replacement.

  • LOVE this song.

  • Rasputina = Most underrated band of the last century.

  • @EcstasyOfApostasy Right, I'm so mad at myself right now. My favorite Marilyn Manson song is "Apple of Sodom", and they were the reason I liked that song so much, but I didn't know who they were. Now looking back Marilyn Manson was terrible and I could have been listening to Rasputina for the past 15 years. Oh well.

  • "Why don't you come in from the coooooooooooooooooooo-oooooooooooold?

...To make an unlikely alliance with me! Heeeeeeey the infidel in me."

    :-) *nods* Maaaaaaaaaakes sense!!!!

  • This song gives me chills.

  • "There are people here who would do you great harm [...] and with that my allegiance had shifted. " is one of my favorite parts in all of music. Just totally perfect.

  • Rasputina is sublime.

  • love this band, and love this song, a lot! I agree, it has a deep meaning, a lot of her music lyrics do.

anyone know what she's talking about?

  • i love this band. this song has a lot of deeper meaning but Melora is AWEOMES.

  • This has to be one of the greatest songs ever written.

  • @smellslikechildren1 I couldn't agree more. Stunning.

It's amazing they aren't more known. ( not mainstream of course but...More known within the underground haha )

  • I like alot!

  • Found the band on my friend's iPod a couple days ago. Fell in love. They make me think of the cello in a completely different way.

  • I haven't heard this band before.. but I gotta say.. I really like this song... <3 gotta look for more =)

  • This is brilliant. I love Rasputina. Thanks for sharing!
