Uhh, well, there is a glitch in the game, I will try to explain:

do a normal backflip stunt on any ramp (or on a wave) and when you "touch" the water again, press the Start-button. I'm not 100% sure, but the game probably thinks that you are still in the air and do further backflips. So the game adds points to your first backflip until you finish the race or until you do another stunt without the Start-trick.

And the more time you spend on the track, the more points you will get (that's why I try to drive through the checkpoints with 0 seconds left).

I disturb the pause-glitch (by doing a normal stunt) before the big ice plate, because I can get more points on the ice plate than the pause-glitch would give me.

But after the checkpoint with the big ice plate, I activate the pause-glitch again and hold it until the finish line (so all I had to do was passing the checkoints with 0"00 left and collecting all rings).

Btw. if you prefer normal stunt vids (without the pause-glitch), then just search for "wave race 64" and you should find some vids by me.

Man, I don't understand a lot of what just happened... but it looked pretty technical. care to explain? cus i've NEVER seen someone play wave race like that before
