Different parts of England have different modes of pronunciation, hell, different parts of London, and different classes in England speak different English. Also, English was brought to America by the English.

The way modern English is spoken in any country bears no resemblance to the language spoken by the Angles. There is no "correct" way to speak English..which makes your comment pretty asinine.
