@reaperontherun716 im pretty sure grissom went to the rainforest or something to be alone with the silence and tranquility of it all as hes going deaf and loves insects, as i remember sarah and grissom hugging in the rainforrest at the end of one of the series i think, as they had alot of chemistry, not 100% on this information but i hope it helped :)

@optimusprimeson thats what was 1st rumoured when we heard he left CSI vegas, but as already said he couldnt agree on the new contract, however a main condition of the actors' contracts,i.e those who have lead roles as law enforcers (such as a CSI or cop) is that they must NOT have a criminal record, as these roles are supposed to set examples to the community. That rule is also partly why kim delaney left CSI Miami after only 10 episodes. she got arrested for DUI 1/2 way through filming.
