These worked better when the meat was square instead of round and each slice was thicker. I have been doing this recipe for years so I know how the meat has changed. One slice is just too thin now. But I still make them because they are good.
@Toews55 Thank you for your comment! Have you tried using several slices in your pinwheels like they do in the video? We are glad you are still enjoying them! We know they are a party pleaser!
@CarlBuddigCo I always used 4 slices per pickle but now I am having to put 8 slices per pickle to get it to turn out the way I like. Which means more packages to make all that I need to fulfill my party obligations. Which is good for Buddig but not so good for my pocketbook. I think I lose in this scenerio. But I wont stop making them just everyone will have to get to the party early because there just wont be as many to go around.
