You people think that if it is more solid, it is safer. But not in all cases, because if it was extremely solid, there would be more G-Force acting on you during a collision and therefore you could break your neck or spine. I'd rather be in a weaker car than a solid car that would never crush.
i had a 93 pajero and i was driving on a gravel road and a cement truck came round a blind corner going a wee bit to fast to be able to brake in time, it was a pretty hard hit but i was able to fix the damage to my pajero, it needed new front guards, bumper, grill, bonnet, and the ends of the chassie were a little bent over, but all fixed now and still running, this was just over a year ago

i have a friend who has a red pajero in that model, it is 10 years old this year (2000) and it has aibags in it, they were standard from 1997
