  • What make of yak is this

  • hyperion

  • Great Video

     Goodbye Glow Hello Electric LOL

  • I am considering electric brushless also, for my Carl Goldberg Ultimate 0.90-1.20 4 cycle. 8lbs. without anything installed.

That was a very creative idea, to use A123 Batteries for DeWalt Drills. I am picturing that they are bulky because my brother has a DeWalt drill we use.

There is this Xtreme charger, from this company that makes RC smoke systems also.TME.

Sounds like they've got the best charger available for A123's,& all other LiPos.

I was considering on going with Hacker or Cyclone.

  • what kind of flight times are you getting with this A123 set up??

  • Impressive setup and flying. What kind of charger do you use on that pack. Where did you get the cells from?

  • I just used the Mastech Power Supply to charge it but when I did this none of the charges had any A123 software built in to them. These days there might be a better option out there.

The cells came out of 36V dewalt drill packs purchased in bulk from ebay.

  • Hello, can you help me?? i have a EDGE carl goldberg 77" i want to put a 63 62 250 rimfire with 14s1p a123, did you think it works for 3d??? i think i have 5 minutes of flying time, think you??

  • Very cool so this would be a perfect place to put a123s. Still dont know much about the batteries but interested. Great flying.

  • What is your motor and propeller !!

    how many A123 for this power !! 4 ?

  • This was 14s 2p, so that is 28 cells or 50.4 volts and 4600MaH. Motor is a Hyperion 5045-b18. Prop was an APC Electric 24X12 I think. I remember that the 22X10 was a little small.

  • What was the AUW of the plane?

  • It was 17.75 pounds. The A123s make it a few pounds heavier than the lipo set up, but it flew good at this weight. Good IMAC setup, a little anemic for 3D but doable.

  • DUDE! Right on.

  • Yes,Herr lackner

  • can you tell me the name of the song??
