Aww so they got married, then they had two kids, a boy who looks exactly like the Gingerbread Man and a girl whose a carbon clone of the Angel Cake girl.
I hold this episode personally responsible for my future as a baker. The "50 Greatest Cartoons" vhs tape is my favorite and i still watch it. lol. Thanks for putting it up!
And LA actually refers to Gingerbread Man as "Gingerbread Boy" at 2:55-2:56, though he is clearly an adult male -- or at least past the age of consent for getting married. Don't call him "boy", white mama!
I just wanna lay down lil Audrey and fuck the shit out of her softly. I would finger her soft lil pussy so tenderly while making eye contact and kissing her sweet lips. Then I'd flip her over my dick and go inside her tiny virgin butthole. Then I'd cum all over her sweet little child body.
Mr. McMahon Wouldn't watching that old craping calssics movie (now T.C.M. (Trner Classics Movie) from 21h00 to 05h00 until July 01 2001 (now C.N. Night Shift! (until the end of the summer of 2005) No one to Suscribe the damn Fax Machine all ready How sad! T_T T^T ;_;
HBK & HHH even Stonecold the rock sayz W.C.W., Nitro and Eric Bishoff Sucks!!!
"Classified and Passed by the National Board of Review" so it notes in the opening credits. I wonder what that board did, who ran it, etc. But apparently at that time a few glimpsing white panty shots was OK! Little Audrey was terrific. I recall these cartoons as a kid. I loved them! Try pausing during the stirring of the batter. The stop-action single frames of her spinning around the spoon are master works! I wish I had one of the original cells. I wonder what one would be worth now?
I had it on VHS as well. It was a bootlegged tape, so I assume most of you had bootlegs as well. Mine had a couple "censored" cartoons on it, like Jungle Jitters.
I've had a few parts of this running through my head recently and have been trying to find it again! This was one of my favorite cartoons when i was younger!! Oh how I miss my youth. Where the only big drama was who stole your crayons
Wow, I remember watching this when I was little :)
And it's so funny because it seems that everyone had it on VHS but with different cartoons. Mine included the Little Lulu episode "A Bout with a Trout" and another about a king who rode around on a little toy horse, but I can't find that one.
@msallthewaymae Those "cop cakes" were out of line, at least by today's standards of law enforcement.
They may have had probable cause to believe that Devil's Food Cake had committed a felony and to arrest him for it. But he WASN'T resisting arrest. There was no need to beat him like a dog.
@LaTainaIndia And notice, LTI, that we are talking about somewhat light-skinned "cop cakes" -- OK, light-textured ones anyway -- and a somewhat dark-textured "Devil's Food Cake". Behind the idyllic facade of Cakeland, there were racial tensions brewing. "Devil's Food Cake" might have become a Rodney-King like folk hero. "Pastries, pastries; can't we all just get along?"
if i can only turn back the hands of time. this was a time when we all cared for each-other. and felt the life of a soul, now here we are killing each-other! sad.
Little Audrey came about when "Marge" wanted more money from Famous Studios to renew the animation rights to her character "Little Lulu" , Famous Studios decided to "create" Little Audrey" instead, saving them the copywrite fees.
The way she says "Uh-hu...I'm ready" has a very strange impact on my nervous system...it works through my spinal cord and into the speech center of my brain...and out of my mouth and involuntary "ahhhhh...." resounds...remarkable!
one thing i still love about these old kids shows is the music....the wonderful voices singing the themes with quality band or orchestra behind...you just don't find quality anymore...it's just shows being pumped out for money- whatever is catchy and annoying as hell...
Because those were all supposed to be puns. The reason the devils food cake is evil and Miss Angel Cake is good is because angels are good and the Devil is evil.
HEY! Near the beginning she used a weird contraption that looked like a juicer with a handle to crack an egg. Is that for REAL? Maybe I need one. I'm a klutz with eggs.
I guess this is before Harvey adopted the Famous Studios characters. I'm a Harvey fan since childhood (my earliest recollection of reading was a Casper comic book). I still think Audrey (was it... Smith?) is a sweetheart.
