I wonder what that board did, who ran it, etc. But apparently at that time a few glimpsing white panty shots was OK! Little Audrey was terrific. I recall these cartoons as a kid. I loved them! Try pausing during the stirring of the batter. The stop-action single frames of her spinning around the spoon are master works! I wish I had one of the original cells. I wonder what one would be worth now?

Check out 'Shortnin Bread' produced by the same animators (Fleischer) circa 1951. It has the same gags, even the same sight gags as Tarts& Flowers! But it all seems to work..so simple but so good!

This is such a clever cartoon. All these things that they came up with to make Cake Land look cool. It's a shame you don't see stuff like this very often today.
