Okay, I saw a comment about the assistant's face that wasn't so nice..... I think one of the biggest appeals in my opinion was her face. I love her glances more than I love her body movements. Her eyes are amazing. He picked a great woman to assist him. She never screwed up once.

As for the trick, it doesn't matter if you know how he did it. It's still great to watch and very entertaining. I loved Grasso last season. I'm just hoping Swank makes it further this year.

yeah guys but that's the whole point of magic, it's all illusions and mind games...at the very moment of the swap, the audience was distracted by the sparks created by the cage, so i don't see how you can really criticize him if you have the power of a replay button to analyze the whole act.

@rcdicky84 when u see it in a tv or a vid you focus on where is he going and what is he doing but if u were in the audience u cant focus on these stuff

1:12 he goes back srtage watch very slowly. when he goes to pull the gold curtain down he goes back and is replaced with the woman.

This is so easy. When the gold cloth comes over the cage the women gets in to the stand. While Grasso dances around the stage the women is changing in to a cape that looks like what his wearing. Grasso then stands next to the curtin and pulls down on the cloth. They then very fast changes spots, the fire makes you look away from that. Grasso then comes out through the side door and gets behind the judges and ands Sharon the rose.

I know that he goes behind the curtain, but how does the girl get out of the cage thing? Sorry, I'm pretty stupid, but I watched this twice and couldn't figure out how she gets out of the cage!

at 1:12, you can see he goes behind the curtain...how did the girl get in the suit though?...simple, in the begging the assistant took the bottom part to the RIGHT side, and michael went to the RIGHT side, they could of trade spots there...

I only watched this once and I found out exactly how to do this. Terrible Act but easy trick to play on friends if you have all of that equipment!

she went into that platform the cage was on..its deep enough for someone to crawl into and when they got backstage she crawled out.

Start from 0:35 and then watch 0:41 very closely. I probably am wrong but I think that is when she jumps out. That plastic carrier must have some hiding spot on it.

1:14 look at the Curtain where he is pulling the string... THERE are TWO sets if arms... he ran behind the curtain and she switched places with him... She left with the stand... she was never in the cage in the air.

@kbplaya123 Notice how bulky the metal stand was. When the curtain closed she immediately opened a trap door and jammed herself into the stand. Then the stand was pushed to the right of the stage where she then had time to put on her other costume.

@kbplaya123 He never got into any box. At the moment he pulled the rope to reveal the empy cage you can see him slip behind the curtain in the back. At that same moment the girl traded places with him.

@JayZoop oh sorry i didnt explain what i was talking about correctly and there was a misconfusion... i meant his audition trick. the trick he did when i first got to americas got talent. its probably to the right of this comment box. one second he was in one spot...then he ended up in an elavated box. u can pick up on small things but no one on youtube has figured it out yet. the guy moved so fast! if u figure it out tell me please!!

@kbplaya123 I watched the audition you were talking about and could not figure out exactly what he did. I do know that when he lifted the curtain over himself he switched with the girl and had "5-6 seconds" to get in to box. So I was quick but not immediate. There might have been a "step" in the back to more easily get in the box. One wierd thing I noticed. There was a "left" hand sticking out of the box, but at the very end the magician had his "right" hand sticking out of the box.

@JayZoop i noticed then left and and right hand switch but thats all i can figure out. and ur were incorrent about the time he had to get into the box. he had from 0:21-0:25 to get in the box. watch closely youll see this.

I thought it was good... when I first saw it I was amazed, then I watched it another time and I figured it out. But remember... when people go to Vegas to see magic tricks like this they pay to see it ONCE, not like 50 times. So most people wouldn' notice and the judges didn't... (I think)

they should have separate categories: singers, dancers, Miscellanous. let the top of each catagory win 1ooK, then have the over all winner of 1 million.  instead of putting a very good dance act, then a very good magician and a very good singer against each other! it is not fair, but even if you don't win it all the longer you are on the show the more chances you have of someone that could give you your big break, like an opening act for a really big act. work ur way up. finals: FGrav-JEvanc
