i saw him with hamps band at concerts by the sea in los angeles. he came up on crutches and proceeded to outblow the entire band.....there's a picture of him in an old downbeat magazine going down the aisle of a theatre, leading a dancing procession of people. arnett cobb was a great, gifted musician! G-d bless him.
