Although i really like the highway to hell album, i can't help but thinking what a masterpiece it would have been if it had the same production (Vanda&Young) as Powerage........ songs like this would have had so much more brutal force. This production was a typical American production, a little too clean in my opinion.

I agree. When they went away from Vanda & Young to Mutt Lange for production, I think their sound went softer. Not as raw or ballsy. Still good stuff but doesnt compare to Let There Be Rock or Powerage.

The thing with songs of highway to hell is that they are pretty great, but productionj-wise are a step back in time. Powerage was so much more powerful and fitting.
