I wasn't aware we still had these. When I was a kid in the early 70's they would paint them to look like grass hoppers with bobbing antenae. They stopped that at some point, because, they attracted kids who would ride them. I think a few kids got crushed by the rotating, counter weights.
I used to work around that area in van buren and miraloma
