I'm anxious in social situations but when I'm alone at home too long I feel empty and feel I'm missing something and envies those who "have a life" but once I'm out and about I just want to be alone at home... so what am I ?
Hm, from what you wrote here, it sounds like you are an E with a slight social phobia, which is completely normal. Many people don't like certain social situations. I'm like that too.
Hi ExF! : ) This video is very clear and full of good examples of both types of people. Although I really must wonder if your self-diagnosis of being and extrovert wasn't mistaken. A few examples come to mind: you love solitary reading and you are a shy person. I would also guess you choose not to have a lot of friends or a busy social calendar either! (me too!) I am an introvert. Your descriptions at 1:45 and 3:40 were very perceptive and accurate for me. I am suspicious they apply to you too
@LoveMattersMost Hi Bri! :) Thank you for your insightful comments. Some people may think I'm Introverted, but everytime I take the test, I come out as Extraverted, and people who know me very well attest to me being an E. I actually enjoy going to social events all the time, but it depends on what, such as concerts and art shows and such. I'd feel like I'm missing out if I don't attend. So unfortunately, I don't posses the "drive" many I's have which helps them reach a goal...
@EmeraldxFairy Oh, and also, I heard that ENFJ's are the most introverted of the extraverts! So that may explain why I overlap often with some introverted characteristics. :)
