You are no doubt a great guitar player but it is strange you play 5ths with your pinky when it's only a 2 fret reach. Is your pinky stronger than your ring finger in that position?

Thanks man. A lot of players use their pinky for power chords. Personally I think it's a lot more comfortable than using my ring finger.

its not the guitar that sounds good it really has to do with will to learn to make you guitar sounds good

every guitar has a different feel don't go for looks go for the feel of the neck with your hands

some people like a nice fat neck with high action while other like a smooth slender neck with barely any action

go to a guitar store and just pick the guitar you feel is more for you not what other will say when they see it for the first time

Thanks for the words dude. As mentioned, guitar choice is pretty personal so you really should check out some other ones and try them out for yourself. But anyway, I love SGs and I think they are great for metal, but some people disagree. I don't have any experience with those pickups though.
