This game IS a good game. And this is one of my favorite modes. Marines all the way! AVP provides fun and interesting game modes that are very satisfying. It actually takes teamwork and skill.

i miss the life cycle mode, you remeber back in the 2000 version were you start as a face hugger and get a marine then burst out of his chest and grow and you know. i wish they put that in the new one....that was my favorite.

i think i might know whats wrong... open your steam games list and right click on avp3, then click run in DX9 and that might fix your problem

Try and run it on DirectX 9 or just normal mode. DirectX 11 is only available for windows 7, so it can mess up with other systems ;)

The game showed promise, but where it should really rule is in multi-player mode and... it does and doesn't! Playing is fun as hell, but the amount of time it takes to finally get to the game itself is a true fiasco. Never before has the word Quick Match lost all its meaning. From Quick Match to Searching for Games, from Searching for Games to Lobby, from Lobby to Game, but if the host suddenly decides not to play and leaves you'll have to start all over again. Horrible move!!!

What they should have done is play Left 4 Dead (1or2) to get a grip on how easy, bullshit/hazzle free Multi Player gaming should be. The way they did it was clumsy and it put me off playing on far too many occasions. Sad, because the lay-out is awesome! K-k-k-rrrrrrrr, sssssss!

nahh thats a lie, you're able to play on ps3 without friends. But i do think they fucked up the predator hunt mode. Cuz you spawn close to them and they stay in groups and the freaking Hartbeatsensor doesn't makes it you easy at all :p.

In my head it goes - Alien hunts human [ I can work the alien perfect against 90% Marines ]

Human hunts pred [ I know, weird, but I find it easier to take one down with a gun than a tail.. ]

Pred hunts alien [ If your playing against anybody who knows how to work a pred at ALL you damn near cannot take 'em down without a stealth hit

infestation mode is when 18 players become marines 1 player is randomly selected to be an alien the alien must kill marines to turn them into aliens also and so on until 1 marine is standing and you know what happens to him or her

Personally my opinion, Multiplayer pwns singleplayer.

And that's good because multiplayer you can play all the time while singleplayer is once unless you love too play the same shit over again.

I mean singleplayer games sucks because you only play it once then you will never play it again because you know what will happen what's the fun in that?
