This performance could have very much gone WITHOUT the flutist's histrionic shuffling around. Isn't baroque music about control? Telemann would have been like, "OMGWTF are you doing? Are you having a seizure?"

Many musicians move as they play; as long as the expression isn't hindered by the movement, this type of performance is perfectly acceptable...Besides, it's Joshua Smith; No one in the flute world is gonna disown him for a lil dance during Telemann.

Makes a very pleasing combination - sonnets with flute. I enjoyed listening to the sonnet as much as the flute. Many thanks, and very nice flute playing.
