They preserved bionicle from the inevitable "story so messed up nobody cares anymore" end that so many other toys get. Bionicle was a Titan in epic storylines, and Im sad but glad it ended before it was reduced to 99c store material.

The Inika and Mahri should have had a movie. it would have been fantastic and posibly the best one. I wish i started collecting them from the moment I saw them, but at that time, I didin't had money. If I had bought those, I would have had most of the bionicles. the only old ones I have are 1 bohrok, 1 vahki and 2 visoraks.

The Mask, on it's own, made the Mahri, without a wearer, like when it made itself a Toa-body. But, as I said, when Matoro put it on, it drained his life force and fed it into Mata Nui's body

dude I saw this video a year or two before I posted this because I didnt have a youtube account back then, I just wanted to say Matoro is one of my favorite toas and it makes me :( that bionicle is shut down now because of a lame storyline of stupid robots protecting the sitizens of the univers or whatever I dont care.
my point being bionicle had a much better plot and storyline then Hero Factory and Ive always enjoyed playing with them and hopefuly will still enjoy them in the future.

The greatest of the toa. No, he was never my favourite, not when he was released , not when he became a toa, not even when he was a mahri. But when he died, I realised how much He meant to me, to bionicle fans everwhere, because without him, we would'nt have had any of it. 6 years of buildup, a prequel, random sequels, leading up to one moment. If lego makes new bioicles, I beg of them, allow matoro to return. Please.

You see! This is why lego should have kept going with Bionicle. The story is deep and touching and the characters are awsome. Somtimes i cry knowing bionicle is gone forever. All that is left is in our memories.......youtube........LEGO.com(for now). Bionicle is what i grew up playing with and i still love it soooooo much. This is a crime that i will never forgive lego for. I took a survey on LEGO.com rescently and sugested Bionicle digital designer. Hopefuly lego will consider it. Bionicle FVR!

I haven't fallowed BIONICLE since the inika and now matoro is dead. bionicle had one of the best stories in lego so i guess that means some loved charaters have to die, but they most not be forgotten. the fans will understand Matoro knew that a toa has a great responsiblity. he shall be missed, but not forgotten.

he went in a hole where voya nui once was. when he got in, voa nui closed him in and his mission was to wear the mask to save everyone well mata nui so then he put on the mask of life!!! Energy surged through him! he knew everything! he WAS THE MASK OF LIFE! He teleported his friends to metru nui and well while matoro did that he started disentragrating and well he died cuz he either blew up or incenerated by the power of the mask. He wasn't one of the greatest he IS THE GREATEST HERO ALIVE
