Italy's second "goal" was offside to Fifa's rules before 1997. Baggio receives the ball one meter or so OFFSIDE. And the handball is a penalty. It's not an innocent hand. Fuck you, Sepp Blatter.

the referee in that match was french, he was pissed that bulgaria fucked france in the qualifications thus bulgaria proceeded to the world cup and france didn't - that's why he would've never given that penalty

Check it by yourself! He made an unfair penalty goal against Nigeria on quarter finals. On France 98 Baggio INTENTIONALLY hits the ball on a Chilean hand and gets a penalty. Italy should have been second on the group and face Brazil on next stage. And Chile facing Norway. So many details, man.

I am half Italian and an Italian fan and even I must that it's sad that Bugaria weren't given a penalty. They were a great team that year and I'm sure the reason why FIFA didn't award them that penalty they truly deserved was because they were worried they'd knock out Italy and beat Brazil in the Final to become World Champions.
