That's what i did with the new Hot Wheels A-Team van they came out with last year for the 2011 editions. I have one that i removed from the card, but kept the card in tip top shape, while i have a few mint on the card still. ...along with the BTTF Delorean.
@toyv1ru5 i jz started collecting 2008.. i x sell toys.. i jz buy.. play wf them.. then display.. the only toys tat still nicely sealed inside the box are my hot wheels collection.. oh wait.. i only opened a hot wheel play set.. the rest are sealed.. haha.. no wonder u x open ur toys.. for selling purpose in the future rite?? haha..
@78ken78 Yes, I never open toys that could be worth more money in the future. That's how I money to buy more toys to sell and some to keep like Street Fighter and Transformers.
@toyv1ru5 our passion to collect toys is same but different strategy.. haha.. I x plan to sell my toys.. i only collect them.. enjoy the fun playing n displaying them.. anyway i would really like to c ur robocop action figure.. hehe..

yeah i wanted to buy a real trans am and build a KITT BUT i recently crashed my honda civic that i put so much money into the engine for nothing . anyways my friend is selling a 1989 TRANS AM with original engine and transmission its white and needs little engine work . BUT i need to buy a daily car before i buy a collectible FULL SIZE KITT.
Correction: Its 1/43 scale. I have both KITT and KARR. Got it abt 5 years ago when it was first released. The switch for the light up scanner is underneath the display case. Dust will not go in as it is protected with the acrylic case.
When both the KITT and KARR were released many years back, one of the local hobby store brought them in. So I actually pre-ordered from them before they were released. The model was about US$40 each when I got it at that time. I'm surprised at how much it is going for now at Ebay.. Its really rare. I removed the LR44 cell batteries from both KITT and KARR as I did not want the batts to leak over time. I suggest you do the same for yours too.
Wanna add that the model has the dashboard used in season's 3 and 4 of the show. Even though its tiny, the details is just amazing. Even the bigger 1/18 model can't beat this smaller model.. The 1/43 KITT and KARR is almost close to perfection in my opinion. Its no wonder its a rare item now and its value has gone up..
