Hah. "Kited, that means raising the amount". Uh no it doesn't. This episode has the definition of check kiting totally wrong. Kiting is simply writing a check from one account with insufficient funds, to cover a check from another account with insufficient funds. The "float" of non-existent balances between accounts is like "flying a kite".
These criminals are simply changing the check amounts, that's just Forgery, plain and simple.
Is there a way to successfully do this?
