Metra is in trouble they arent suppose to let people off onto the track its suppose to be on the platform and my grandmother drives metra everyday for 6am-3pm and she told me oh well.

This area is changing a little bit, Metra is in the process of install new signals at Mokena, the old searchlights will be no more in a few weeks. Interesting to see a signal bridge will be going up to the west of Mokena.

Dude they are putting up another signal bridge? I know they have one West of Mokena Already.

Ya, the new signals were just activated last week.. the searchlights are gone. The new bridge is just west of Wolf Road.

my dad worked on the RI line out of Joliet for over 30 years. Now my brother took over his job after he retired. he'll enjoy all this

yup at the tower. my dad retired two years ago. my brother, however, just got cancer and hasn't been working since march. my uncle works out of that tower once in a while too. we're a huge RR family.

I take those quite often, the seats are very plush and comfy. The cars with the bigger windows have a really nice view.

It is also a rule on certain Metra districts that two trains can not occupy a station at the same time, the Rock is one of those districts. Nice video by the way, any others from RI?
