@tigerspence -- Do you mean "why did the robots tear down the basement door"? If so, it was beause Honey couldn't open it on her own, so she tricked them into opening it. (In reality, the old basement door was traded for a new one.)

Thanks for the response, Michael. Perhaps a future development could involve an embittered rogue contractor(perhaps an animal) who has a hatred of cat videos. Or maybe the remodeling changed the psychic energy of the kitchen which changes Honey's abilities, enabling her to link to Kurt Cobain, who explains the sordid details about his murder. I was going to send in this Kurt Cobain idea for the 'create your own dialogue' contest, but I thought it would be perceived as being too strange.

What an adventure! Curiously, I've done the same to my own kitchen, taking it to the studs and starting over. Difference: I started in February, and I'm doing it all myself, from rewiring to hanging drywall to learning how to hang cabinets. I'm still not done, but the cats don't care anymore. Just finished the countertops, and next I get to learn how to lay ceramic tile flooring. I'm having a ball with it.

@lostpainting -- The main contractor was. He sometimes even saw me filming them. But like most people I meet, people think you're crazy if you tell them you make cat videos. As one person aptly put it -- "Every community usually has someone like you..." I didn't take it as a compliment. Heh, heh.

@Tygress99 -- Thanks for watching since the beginning. Actually, the cabinets are made out of Knotty Pine with a Merlot finish. ONe of the reasons I like them so much is that you can actually see the knots in the wood...gives it a more rustic, homey look...IMHO...

What a great idea to do a Cat Clip around some remodeling! Looks like several shots captured the unmistakable reaction cats have to new spaces. What fun! Emptier than opening day of Sarah Palin's new movie, BWAHAHA., cue chirping crickets. Really nice remodeling there. Bet it gave you an excuse to eat out more during it! Post apocalypse motif describes my kitchen. There is still a stain on the ceiling where I opened a can of cat food with a hammer after the pull ring snapped off...in 1995.
