  • the thoughts expressed by that charactor are hundreds of years old and at the core of all martials arts, your vulgar nature and your ego stand in the way of understading the simple truths of life. May you live forever.Suck on that o wise one.

  • what a fucking retarded quote

  • @Pooternackle5 u r an idiot

  • @peacefulwarrior9000 You can't do unless you succeed. If you don't succeed then you have not done. Think critically, moron, before you start sucking the metaphorical cock of Yoda.

  • this quotes yoda say's comes from the bible.

  • kodos should go to john williams too

  • THe puppet looks so much better than the CGI

  • No, most of what he says is based on TRUTH, not any religion.

  • 0:32 CONCEN TRAAAAAAAAAAAATE lol just look at yodas face..so priceless.

  • RIP IRV

  • THE most important 5 minutes of star wars i think

  • @billabongodrum1 si, por lo menos los con más contenido. Yoda le da una verdadera lección de vida a Luke.

  • master reminds me Mahatma Gandhi :)

  • oh poor luke he lost his little ship... too bad. hmm.

  • oh poor luke he lost his little ship... too bad.

  • This is so good this scene. It really is. Only the scene from various Darth Vadar can mtach these scenes. I wish Stars Wars could have continued to have the vibe of The Empire strikes back - the best film of the whole series. Also the original 3 films of Stars tht were shown to the world were the best of the whole series as well. Those 3 first films are STAR WARS! YODA AND VADAR are the best character in Star Wars as well.

  • I'm totally devoted to the Sith... but i must admit that Yoda is ... the Man !!! The only real Jedi Knight and Grand Master...

  • I would so like to have the force....i would be an extremely bad man MOUAHAHAHAHAHA

  • I`d love to be in a planet like that... though eerie, it looks very peaceful. At least i can get a good sleep...

  • do not try, do, or do not, there is no try i love that quote.

  • This is star wars. Not that , medicloriente bullshit

  • DID you know that Star Wars is not far from the truth...you can do this....

  • TRY NOT

  • Most of what Yoda says comes from George's Religion Blender. There's a LOT of religious stuff goin on in SW... Well, the first 3 anyways... Ep2 KILLED the crap outta these movies for me. I still like Empire but that's the only one I watch on a regular basis... Mostly due to George not writing OR directing... And it's the best of the bunch... I wonder how that happened...

  • @jarrod40k George lucas was the story writer for the empire strikes back:

    Director:

    Irvin Kershner

    Writers:

    Leigh Brackett (screenplay) and

    Lawrence Kasdan (screenplay) and

    George Lucas (story)

  • eastern philosophy

  • "i dont believe it" "that is why you fail" Damn that gets to me all the time.

  • That's because it is true.

  • @jflores85 Very Buddha.... Chi... et cetera. Something the West could use a lot more of.

  • feel the force !

  • yoda is so awsome. most of what he says is based on Buddhism.

  • @edmondleeart Actually, most of Buddhism is based on Yoda.

  • @edmondleeart actually, it's Daoism.

  • @MacoutesGabber which comes from the gnostic texts, which comes from ancient africa. <3

  • @eddierob uuhhhh no. Taosim or Daoism, comes from eastern Asia.

  • @edmondleeart I know it's been a year but can you explain it a little more? I'm not familiar with buddhism so I appreciate if you do so. Thanks from advance.

  • @GFuture Well I can sort of explain (I'm not the person you replied too). In episode 3 Yoda said something like to Anakin "you must train yourself to let go of everything you fear to lose." and "attachment leads jealousy." When you do this in Buddhism your trying to reach "Nirvana." When you reach Nirvana your mind experience complete freedom and non attachment. Your basically letting go of any desire or craving. If Anakin had reached Nirvana then he would've never fallen to the dark side.

  • To add on in Buddhism suffering can come in many forms such as loss, pain etc . In Buddhism "desire leads to suffering." This concept relates to why Jedi aren't allowed to fall in love. The desire to fall in love can lead to suffering (Anakin). Suffering can come in the form of loss. Therefore as Yoda said "the fear of loss is a path to the dark side." Yoda also says "Mourn do not, miss them do not." this relates to Nirvana (no attachments)

Sorry ran out of comment room I hope that helped
