I think this one of the best and well thought out videos on youtube...Honest! I've always thought that religion was nonsense, but science is discovering that materialistic atheism is nonsense too. Matter is empty space. Energy is all there is and all there ever will be! Good video.

I understand what you mean when saying we are pure energy and this is only an "illusion", but I wonder why that matters?

I mean, that if this state of being is an illusion, it is still all we know, and how we interact with the world around us. Well this is a loaded sentence, because you base it on your definition of atheists. Take my aunt, for example. She does not believe in a god, but believes in the spiritual realm, with spirits and other supernatural things. There is a  surprising number of these kinds of people today, but they don't identify themselves as atheists spescifially, because "atheism" is a word many get wrong. But they are atheists, because they do not have a belief in god.

Atheism is a stance on a single issue, on the belief in god. Nothing more. Not a single thing more. We do not believe in "nothing", just not in god. A vast majority of atheists don't even say there definitely is no god, only that they don't believe there is a god. Just as you don't believe there are unicorns. Can the fact that you don't believe in unicorns define you as a person? No.

@ubermons Well, that's fine, technically that might be true, but every atheist I've ever corresponded with, and I've corresponded with HUNDREDS, has stated that they don't believe in higher dimensions, a spirit world, etc etc. they believe exactly as I described in my video. Also, people who aren't sure if there's a "god" or not are NOT atheists, they are AGNOSTICS. Are you telling me that you're an atheist who believes in s spirit world? I love how you declare that atheists have a warped view of reality while presenting zero evidence for why it is wrong except "You can't comprehend having that view". Well, they are separate claims. I believe that the Bible is false, because it’s logically incoherent and demonstrably false. (I believe it’s false.) I disbelieve in alternate dimensions, spirits, deistic gods, because of a lack of evidence and testability. (I hold the Null hypothesis - not active belief that they are demonstrably false.) :)

Since your claim is that we are massless non material beings it should be simple.
