simply wonderful !!!!!!!! I was so very eager to hear this after a friend had mentioned this was one of the best duets he had ever heard !!!!!!! I cant agree less.If I were to select 5 of Lataji-Rafisaheb best duets this wld certainly find a place.
many thanks for sharing it.wish the video was available !!!!!!!!!!
thanks for sharing . heard for the first time but v beautiful . i have always found voices of lata and rafi as heavenly , particularly in their younger days . !
used 2 listen this song in my childhood on radio ceylone & all india radio. gr8 melody & gr8 composition. wll some one b kind enough 2 mention the music director & name of the film. gone r the days when such butiful gems were composed. 2days music is fully rubish without any melody & meaningful lyrics, the orchestra on synthesizer loosing the originality. wll the time come again when the original orchestra wll b arranged.
Madhu Sudhan ji, the artistic montage you chose is so appropriate for the song. The desolate scene with the lonely person in the background befits the emotions so tenderly expressed in the song. From there Lata's unequalled voice takes over to swamp one's heart. And the way she modulates voice singing....Asha biraha ke' gaane' sunaanne' lagi... peaks the emotions. Rafi's achievement is similar. Great selection, once again.
Such a touching song, and to top it all in heavenly voices of Lata and Rafi. I don't know if I am saying it right, but it almost makes me feel emotional with its sweet heart-tugging quality. Thanks, Madhusudhan ji. But I never heard of K. Datta, the music director before.
My years of search for this song is over today...wonderful. Thanks a million buddy.
