This is a profound combination of music and poetry. I am deeply moved by the words and the music is precisely in sync with the poem. Don't change a thing!
I am just getting into the works of Eliot and would like to get tips on other masters of the english language. Who are the considered masters of the word in brittain? Shakespeare is obvious I guess but Id appreciate more tips, thanks.
Eliot is British-American, lived in America until 24. Anyway, usually they categorize them more broadly than Britain, into "Anglo" writers or even just "English language" writers, and Yeats is virtually always mentioned. Another Brit of unquestionably giant stature was W.H. Auden.
As for Anglo/English stuff in general, James Joyce and Samuel Beckett must be consulted if literature is to be consulted at all.
Earlier British poets of genius: Tennyson, Blake, Keats... long list, really.
Can someone make a better combination? Love this T.S. Elliot poem, and I find this version whit the Pink Floyd songs behind, really make you want to fall in tears.
Astonishing!

Beckett and Joyce were English??????????

@davidHasselhoff Joyce was Irish. Dunno about Beckett that much but I think he was British. If you're talking about the authors, I mean.
