the area is quite possibly one of the most beautiful in the world. The views from up there are priceless. But i do not admire the remodeling job..... did someone say they have to use mules to get the materials up there? poor animals......
I live in Germany and just watched the first two parts; for some reason part 3 would not come up saying it was blocked outside the U.S. Would love to see the final part. How is the remodel going?
Rhonda, I followed your posts on fodor.com ... do please please post some updates. In what I recall as the last room y'all went into there was some nice painting that still remained on the walls, I hope those can be recreated....
We will be sure to invite you to visit when it is finished so you can see how "silly" we were for buying the ruin. We had the project well under way, including putting in a lovely hand-laid stone road, well before the show even aired... Believe in people's dreams!
@rperks1 : I didn't mean any offense by my comment, it's just what I think after having lived in Italy for so long. I'm much more used to seeing projects going unfinished in this country. I'd love to come down when it's finished, I'll bring you some nice wine from Verona. Do you guys have a blog about your project?
