I love Robert and Kitty!!!! Robert is such a good guy and this clip shows how much he loves his wife. I miss Robert and Kitty I wish they would do some sort of flashback episode that Rob Lowe returns for That would be awesome.

@vcuster85 I would hope for that too, I miss Robert so much! Every time I watch scenes now on Brothers&Sisters, I just feel like there is an empty presence. We lost other in-laws before due to divorce and break-ups, but we lost Robert in a car accident that was just a tragedy, it still hurts! I hope Rob Lowe would decide to come back to do a flashback or cameo!

omg its really funny, i am obsessed with MerDer on Greys Anatomy but i have seen every scene of them at least a dozen times so i came to see a new couple on tv and I see people commenting about MerDer ♥ SORRY THAT WAS KINDA RANDOM

@shetaz905 Amen to that. Robert may have sometimes put his ambitions before his family, but he was a good man who loved his wife and children and tried his best. He never did anything with malice, that's what counted.

it wasn't the writes decision... Rob Lowe decided to leave the show and he asked the writers to kill off his character

@desperatehwivesfan no, the writers/producers wanted to keep Robert around, in fact, ABC was quite verbal in the fact that they love Rob Lowe and wants to keep him, but Rob felt he was being underused so he asked the writers to make way for him to leave and kill off Robert.

I love when a man can appreciate a woman for who she is despite her outward appearance. Love this scene.

You can clearly tell what kind of a person Robert really is. Yes sometimes he lets his career ambitions trump his family life, but when the chips are down, where it really counts, Robert is there for his family and for the Walkers.

And the fact that he did not even flinch or hesistate for one second after walking in and seeing Kitty bald speaks VOLUMES on just how good Robert is as a person and how much he loves Kitty.

@florariel I cried buckets when Robert died, I was bawling and couldn't stop. Robert is absolutely amazing, I mean, at age 17, he convinced his cheating pregnant girlfriend to have a baby, put it up for adoption and drove her to her aunt's house, and he did all this for a baby that wasn't his and a girlfriend who cheated on him. I remember that girl saying to Kitty, "Do I worship the ground Robert McCallister walks on Ms. Walker? Not nearly enough."

@melliestar222 As much as I love MerDer, even they had their cheating moments. Robert on the other hand would never even THINK of cheating on Kitty, so at least from one side, Robert is the most genuine guy ever! I think for me, that puts Kitty and Robert a bit ahead of MerDer. :D
