@steffen54321 It wasn't good, unlike the other acceptance speeches which were actually quite funny, this one tries to rely on senseless violence for humor, considering how senseless violence is the theme of gears of war it's fitting I suppose. But seriously why nominate Marcus Fenix, he is such a bland character. Adam Jensen from DE:HR would've deserved his spot more.

Not just that, but Nathan showed a subtle dismissive hint at the whole thing ("To hell with the VGAs"), add his line to what we're seeing here (using the award to beat the crap out of a Locust), and...does anyone else smell a rat here? It sounds like something was cooked up to make The Joker win ANYway, and industry insiders knew about it beforehand. They weren't happy obviously.
