yay! I wish they would re-release their stuff on cd (I think they did a few years ago but it was only limited) they are a fun band and I like thier short films
They did re-release their "Revelation" EP on CD, and I got the last one ! That's where this clip came from. Great song ! I was briefly in e-mail contact with "Smeg" (Craig) a couple of years ago, and he wasn't sure if they would be releasing more. I told him to get on with it ! I've just looked up "Right Back Records" via Google, and it's still in their catalogue, so presumably they did make more, and it's still available...?!
Thank you ! I take it your a Dundonian. I grew up there; born there in 1963, left for various reasons in 1981. And I hated Dundee United ! If you don't like punk then you'll obviously not like this. But they were to the best of my knowledge Dundee's only punk band, so are part of Dundee's history ! And this song is a piss-take of Radio Tay, who you may remember when they started had a tiny budget and were awful. So "WHO'S GONNAE PAY FER RADIO TAY" !
@roddy76to86 In the year you were born they were playing A.C.Milan in the semi-final of the European Cup! Hard to believe but true! I was there! 40,000 at Dens.
That must have been an amazing experience. I knew about the Semi-Final, but not about the 40,000. You must have been packed in like sardines ! Great history.
Hopefully they'll make a comeback someday ! The last time I was at Dens was with a friend from Wick, about 1983, and Brora Rangers were playing Dundee in the Scottish Cup. We were with the Brora fans, and they scored first with a cracker of a goal. The euphoria was unbelievable. Dundee won 2 - 1, but the Brora fans still went away happy.
I can see why lol. A NZ band here called Shihad had to change their name overseas to Pacifier because it sounded too much like "Jihad" which of course is associated with the whole 9/11 Terrorist thing. They are now back to being known as Shihad now though again.
Sadly not, I got them off Google. Although I must have a lot of pictures either I or my Dad took lying about somewhere, since I was born and grew up in Dundee.

The have the best name of any Punk band that I've ever heard of lol.
WoodRatGirl 1 year ago
They used to sometimes have to change it for some venues that found the name unacceptable.
