you all should listen to damien rice, hes slow and emotional like this and he says fuck all the time. i think it expresses more in this situation than just saying we messed around or we screwed, the words 'fucked around' involves SO MUCH more. not only the emotion of sex its self but the cold and harsh feeling of reducing it down to fuck, instead of made love. fuck is the basest word to describe the actions that took place. listen to the rest of the song... fuck is the only thing that works...
