  • Hello Mother, Hello Father, these mosquitos Really Bother

  • the hippos part was cute....

  • oh what the tune used in this fantasy the one at 2:07 plz someone help

  • @manoq26 It's called The Dance of the Hours, but it was made into a parody so you may be familiar with the "Hello muddah, hello faddah" tune. I hope that helped, I'm doing a dance to this song at the moment and when our choreographer first played the track, that's what I thought of. :)

  • alot of these songs are on kickass classical top 100! Yes!

  • 12 people were sad to find out this song wasnt an hour long

  • I love the bubble dance. :)

  • I wonder if VHS will ever become obsolete? Will they make these beautiful relics on DVD (or whatever comes after DVDs) or will they just let them be forgotten?

  • @kakashidemon321 Well, as long as DVDs doesn't record anything on TV, then the VHS will never be Obsolete!

  • I love this song. We played it in regionals last year. :)

  • @Sivadmail1 You mean, actually having to draw each frame and take a shot of that? Yeah, that would really be nice actually. Something about it is just so much more beautiful than computer generated cartoons these days.

  • just errr casually writing my media coursework in time to this bad boy........

  • Who the H*LL disliked this? I love this and I'm 11.

  • la giocondaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • This is why I took ballet.

  • someone should make a funny Dragonball/z/gt fanvid to this music.........it would be pretty epic, especially the end portion..........i can totally see someone cutting battle scenes to that music......lol

  • im 13 and even i miss the old disney . now they dont care about good acting or good drawing . they just care about money . it makes me sad...

  • This is one of my favorite numbers from this movie - this, the volcano and dinosaur suite, the devil suite and the nutcracker suite.

  • who was the lead for the elephants

  • love when the elephant gets that bubble stuck on her foot :D

  • I remember watching it for the first time boy was it ever good and it's still good now!! Great child hood memories.

  • hello mudda hello fadda

  • Now THIS is what my children is gonna grow up with!

No Hannah Montana or Camp rock in this house!

    NO SIR!

  • That must be a pretty damn strong wind to blow elephants away....

  • ponchielli wrote this beautiful music and I can listen HUNDRED TIMES and it moves me as it did when I was a young man

  • ohhh!

I like so much this dance

  • this is my all time favorite part and i still love it know that i am 16!!

  • oh no oh god oh crap the nostalgia

    I feel 7 again

  • This is SO weird...?

  • This is SO larger than life, I LOVE it! XD

  • this music is pure magic i cannot imagine how someone can give a thumb down, but there is a large number of people that do not even understand the word CLASSIC

  • its very ironic. this should be the carnival of animals. lmao.

  • i loved the fact the disney took awkuad animals and made them graceful dancers-i love the hippo and i speak for my fellow females when i say although this hippo is fat, the crocodile falls head over heels in love with her-whenever i watch this it reminds me of that men dont care how you look or what weight you are-its a shame some women obsess over this

  • @SarahRosalind Camille Saint-Saens has turtles dancing the Can-Can.

  • reminds me of K-9 Advantix :p

  • @CerealKiller41 xD That commercial is so cute! :)

  • OH NOSTALGIA!!!

  • @silversunned I know right? makes me wish there were channels on cable that played all the good stuff from back them :(

  • That's one lazy hippo, 2 jumps, 3 spins and then she's sleeping during half film!

    (

  • Anyone else notice that those are the MALE colors for the ostriches? Could this mean that they are actually male ostriches dressed up like ballerinas? Just sayin'.

  • i have been absolutely in love with fantasia since i was a little girl, the ostriches are my favorite disney animated charectars(?) of all time.

  • Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah. Here I am at Camp Granada.

  • I never really know if the alligator actually loves the hippo or if he just wants something to eat. Anyone know for sure?

  • @katalina82695 I always thought the Crocadile was evil...just my opinion

  • I find myself strangely attracted to the hippos. 0_0

  • kids nowadays think they're 10 years older than they really are. it's so sad. they're not living the childhood that we've all enjoyed with good ol' walt. </3

  • Walt was not only a classic animator....he liked his 'funny mushrooms.'

  • soooo beautiful!!!!!

  • LOL the black and white colors are for male ostriches while females are brown, but i love it anyway

  • @AdventCK

Female ostriches are brown. In bird species, it's the male that's very conspicuous and flashy.

  • song 3:10??please..:)

  • Bring these beautiful creative days back please... Dance of the Hours is such a romantic piece!

  • *sigh* will there ever be a movie like this again?

  • geeeeeeeenious!

  • This is magic.

  • I love hippos.

  • this is awesome . i'm 14 and i'm still in love with this .

  • This movie <3

  • The hippos seem to be far better dancer's than the ostriches... and our crocodile friends are quite the romantic sweethearts!

  • I love it,

This is beautiful, reminds me of my childhood ! i loved this stuff classic magic !

I loved snow white , reminded me of it

It's so true Disney aint what it used to be, sadly ! <3

  • all the single ladies all the single ladies

  • How does that aligator carry the hippo in part 2 and also we play this in orch i really long

  • I don't why but those alligators flat out terrified me as a kid,

  • this movi is so great that i hadn't notice that it's impossible that a fish been floting inside a bubble, i first watch this movie when i was like 5 years old, 13 years later, this movie still so great like then (sorry my spelling)

  • the hippo is quite provacative looking 3:30 =D

  • LOOL, didn't realise that at first ! x

  • I agree Parasaurolophus, I see these teeny boppers and their little sister and brothers and the crap they watch and I think to myself, "When I was their age I was obsessed with butterflies and frogs, Disney movies and reading." These kids are obsessed with fashion, make-up, hair extensions, Teen soap operas and fame... its so sad.

Whenever I have my own kids, I will raise them like I was, on Classic Disney and literature!

    RIP Walt-you rocked!

  • @sanitariumcalls

Excuse me how old are you now? Because you sound like my grandma when she is conplaining about how she hates the new stuff and that the stuff before was better, and you know why she sais that? because she dousn´t seem to know how to use a computer! So shut up oldy! Just because you don´t like to dress nicely and don´t have worth for working dreams, and maybe you should try make up, and about the hair estencions adults also use it my mom uses them to make her hair to look nice.

  • @sanitariumcalls i thinks its more about people and their eras. every generation will be different and the previous will think theirs was better, but with subjects like classical music and such i think every generation should learn to appreciate it

  • @sanitariumcalls The awesome thing is, that I'm related to him.

  • @sanitariumcalls man i hope if i ever accidentally have a kid that they are obsessed with fashion, make-up, hair extensions, vs gang affiliation, teen pregancy, drug addiction, etc.

  • @sanitariumcalls You do know that Walt was a horrible racist and anti-Semite...

  • @DrewWiggin it was an other period .... a lot of people was racist, antisemetic, and "misogyne";;;; but not many people had so much talent..... I am a half black, half jewish, woman....

  • @DrewWiggin If there were "horrible racists" and "anti-Semites" like Walt around today, this world would be a much better place. As many people that worked for Walt would tell you, he was one of the most open-minded and thoughtful individuals you could meet. Don't read too much into the secular-progressive revisionism of humanities and history.

  • @sanitariumcalls even though he was an anti-semetic sexist...

  • @sanitariumcalls i know you may have wrote this a year ago but i would just like to see im a teen and i dont wear make up i can care less about fashion and here i am watching disney :) some teens never loss walt disney

  • @livelovelaugh4me the point he is making is that education and morals have gone down the tubes... and before you decide to stand up for other teens make sure your grammar improves... "... but i would just like to see im a teen..." say is the word you are looking for not "see." Example two, "...some teens never loss walt disney." Its lost, not "loss" and even that was wrong because you misspelled "lose." thanks for representing, you made teens everywhere proud and adults will rest easy now

  • Disney has really gotten down. In the earlier days, they put pure magic in their movies, and it was something special.

Today they seem to have forgotten the love by mass- producing evrything that will make money (Hannah Montana, Camp rock etc)

To all of you who remember the good, old classics: remember them, and show them to your children...

R.I.P Walt Disney. We shall never forget how you put pure magic in our childhood...

  • i was born just before this High school Musical craze and Hannah Montana........ i saw the old Disney movies well your are right.... for example when my class was watching HSM3 they looked brain dead. i saw no love in this new Disney stuff, just bad acting........sigh

  • who else got a craving for fruit when they watched this? lol

  • How wonderful!

  • i think that hippos tutu is a bit too small

    lol!!!

  • 3:03, stupid ostrich XD

  • The birds are potrayed as female, not males. Go to imbd for informaton about the fantasia.

  • 6:39 !

  • I wanted the ostriches eyeshadow so much as a kid :P

  • bravi TUTTI !!!!!!!!!!!

  • Isn't it the male ostriches who have black feathers on their bodies and white tail feathers and white feathers on the ends of their wings?

Part of the ostrich bit sounds similar to "Camp Grenade", but I could be wrong.

  • That's because they took the theme for the "Camp Grenada" song from this piece. "Dance of the Hours" is from Ponchielli's 1876 opera "La Gioconda," and "Camp Grenada" was written in 1963.

  • yeah, the second movement (with the hippos dancing) is the music for camp granada. the guy based his song on the melody.

also, they are some pretty male ostriches.

  • so i guess they are all gay ostriches :/

  • who told you that the ostriches are male?

  • Damn those ostriches can jam!

  • I think they are a lyre or a harp on the left (as you look at it), and a sundial on the right. So the lyre stands for music, or dance, and the sundial is for time, or hours. Thus, "Dance of the Hours."

  • The sleepy ostrich in the middle of the line...that's me in dance class.

  • 1:45 : LOL!!!

And coloured ostriches are male!! This is such a funny implication. I like!

  • They don't make them like this anymore. It's all Pixar now.

  • True. It really is sad...

  • isn't one of them a sundial?

  • those elephants are creepy.

  • oh gosh, this brings back my childhood memories, i love this film

  • Gracias!!! esta melodía siempre ha sido mi favorita desde que era pequeña; me dio mucha risa!!

  • Haha at 2:18 that ostrich is in her own little world and isn't paying attention before suddenly realising :D cute

  • 1:41 makes me laugh so hard!

  • Maravilha!!! Obrigada por esta obra prima.

  • I love this video. it's just silly enough to keep children's interest, but serious enough that we can still appreciate the music. Thanks so much for posting this.

  • Graciaaaaaaaaassssssssss amigo mio"!!

Volvi a ser ni~a con estos hermosos videos.
