@Gribbs81406 it was. still not that bad for early in the season tho. i mean they did get loads better, but this was early in the season from what ive seen
I love them! I have the sheet music to the snare break if anyone wants to trade me some other something for it? Particularly, I'm looking for Ditty Remix
All i can is wow. They are all godlike in their precision. even when they are all doing things at different times, they all have the same stick heigts, strokes they hit the beat together, more or less, you hear one tenor, one snare and well, the bass drums are different pitches but hopefully you get my point.
I stand corrected I saw a few other clips and this line is not a dirty line. As matter of fact there are pretty clean. I give them credit. I would place them in the top 5 or even the top 4. I can't say they should win drums but I give them my respect.
There is just no way this line should be beating Bluecoats or even phantom. This will sound brutal but is evident this line is being placed. It looks like DCI is starting to place lines again. It was bad in the late 80's during my time. It took drumlines nearly a decade to recover. When dirty lines win all drumlines suffer. These young guys are working hard but they are not deserving the scores they are getting its evident. Wow.
Hara-kiri tenors? T_T I love the gratuitous visuals in the snares and tenors. The basses sound like synth taikos with those puffs. I love the texture here. Yum.
ew. this must have been early in the season... :P

You guys should hold auditons in San Francisco, I'm sure you would have a much better turn out than this pile of rabbit shit.... all male fairies -_-

This is early in the season, clearly. However I've noticed you don't even take that into consideration.

Why are you infringing on my right to comment as I please?
You are the NateMaster of shit.
betoyeyo 2 years ago
Because you are violating two of Youtube's community guidelines. One being harassment, the other being spam. You are essentially a spam harasser.

I would never harass spam!!!

Anyone got a copy of the tenor feature?
Viper989098790 3 years ago
i agree the bass drum line is laughable...but why do you use the work "tick"...who even knows what that word means anymore.
who even cares about execution....i thought it was all about high-sticking and drums that so choked that they sound like table tops.
at least that's the way it appears to the casual observer anyway.

What do you mean by laughable? Did you march anywhere?
MDLarsen88 3 years ago
How many ticktocks do they even have? They are... just plain sick

I agree this is a very dirty clip. They played much better at finals, but the bassline still ticked that feature at finals.

loto127 3 years ago
cavies got second in percussion but they were 3rd overall
ludwigdrummer13 3 years ago
I think bluecoats should've taken 2nd in drums. Cavs didn't do bad at all though.

tenors are so dirty on the fast rolls. sanre line is pretty good though
fifteen95 3 years ago
If u watch carefully, there's too much stick height difference in the tenor line....thus causing lots of dirt.
acura1997 3 years ago
Their front ensemble must be incredible, because I don't understand how they are beating Bluecoats so good.
From vids I've seen, Phantom and Bluecoats are on another playing field.
