Your guitar riff represents your love for his music and handing down the music from one generation to another. We have to love the music of those who came before us and respectfully express it though our voices. R&B, Jazz, Gospel, Blues and Rock all come from African American roots via the Pentatonic scale, play it as u c. PLAY ON!

hehe Thanks man. I was so happy to discover him then, by this live video on utube. It was a full blast of "soul" for me, I felt the need to play "with" him. I try to make my music speak as in the old days, blues, rock, jazz, making reference to all thouse great bands and musicians of the "golden ages" hehe African american root pentatonic is the way my heart feels more comfortable with. Finally some good comments, appreciate it :)
@nayteb nope, sorry to you bro, you may have your own tastes, but dont seems you are a musician nor know what is an electric lead guitar supposed to sound like. For me this is "perfection", live improvised groove, the flow of that night while I discovered this song for the first time...A rigged band, plus a nice singer, plus a lead guitar, doesnt gets better than that. If you think you can notice the non existant tuning problem of maybe 2 cents of tone on a 3.7k usd guitar, are u audio engineer?
and also read the description, it clearly says I just improvised it while watching the video on one pc, while the other was generating the simulation of a guitar amplifier. There is natural delay of input, because of audio clocks hardware. Also there was no way I could level my guitar a little under the vocals, since my hifi wifi stereo headphones compress the sound levels and peaks. Like it or not, for me is cool hehe
Someone altered this video.. Trust me Luther Band is Tight.. That was a requirement every time it was show time you must be on point.... They rehearsed like crazy.... And if it was a slip up anywhere they heard about it. This is for anyone who questioned his band. I see the publisher said he added a track..
im sure that it would rock you music NUb you dont even know whats harmony why ima wasting my time here i wont reply no more to you lack of feeling and music knowledge
i have so much lack of knowledge that i have sang with lots a great people youtube..... me eric benet, christina aguilera, and th egreat broadway star idina menzel...
look on youtube. the guitar players iv'e played with don't sound nothing like you... so i think i know what harmony is and far beyond... you are just wack...
no argues you get all monkey still with insults thats what happens to Low Iq ppl anyways Cheers have a wonderfull life and send kisses to your soon and husbant.Bye
@adrion6912 I think you'll find that who ever may have posted this might have added the guitar over. The original has no guitar over it like this version. Luther would crusify anyone who played like that for him.
@adrion6912: The version I heard had the guitar muted but even then it was "too much." He's WAY out in front of Luther, who's tends to sign behind the bass. Take a look at Nat, the pianist's, disapproval and you clearly see things were no going well. But Luther being Luther, the consummate professional, shines through.
Quelle magnifique live !!! Luther tu es un Dieu du groove mon gars saches que mon fils agé de 8 ans adore ta chanson comme son papa et là ce live aurait génial à voir dans le public là..Dieu te bénisse Luther on t'aime "never too much" you 're so best!!!!
can you also post it without your brilliant guitar effort?

Luther was great as usual, but who was the person on the guitar? He sounds like a cross between Carlos Santana and Prince!

Whoever added the guitar to this video should turn it down. Luther's shows were always balanced. His instruments never overpowered his vocals.
