  • The Wall Street Movie is going to be entertaining at the very least. Their choice of characters, as most of you have pointed out, are designed to attract the 'right" audience!! thank you for all of your comments!! Michael Weiss

  • You know i soon as i hit 17 when i am out of skool am gonna go over to america because its an awesome country and it would be epic adn so i can see loads of famouse peopl and if i am lucky i will see shia hopefully.

  • Anything that shia labeouf is in has to be a f**king legend of a movie because everythime i watch a movie with shia he just blows me away with his outstanding performance and to

morph995 no OFFENCE but your wrong obviously he is just fantastic in every single movie so watch his movies mabye you have seen them mabye not but watch them again and you will know that h is a truly amazing actor.

  • when were they filming this? where were they filming this? does anyone know?

  • i want to see it because shia labeouf is in it! but i dont know what it is about.

  • shias so hot! and hes a great actor. i never even heard of wallstreet now i wanna see it though!

  • Where are the cameras?

  • I hope too god Charlie sheen is in this movie although sadly I don't think he is. He made the first movie great and this on will suck without him

  • he is!!! imdb it bro

  • I know he has a cameo.

  • wait. shia labeouf only has a cameo?

  • as I understand it, he is in it, but not a main character this time.

  • Always rate 1 star if the video has annoying annotations in it, like this one.

  • I was an extra for this filmi

  • i wonder if charlie sheen will kick the shit out of his wife in this movie ????

  • @MrWaynejohn Yeah Wall Street 2 starts with Charlie Sheen playing Bud Fox doing what Sandro did to Talia Shire in Godfather one.

  • ha,ha,ha....btw, can you believe people marked my comment bad when all i was saying was the truth ....right ???

  • I hope that Stone goes even further with plot on this one. The audience nowadays is generally more sophisticated and savvy on stock/financial scams than in the 80's.

I would like to see a double twist where Gecko gets in bed with some evil investment bankers and is forced to expose a conspiracy to protect his own market assets. Bud Fox warns Shia about Gecko and tries to mentor him but Shia goes for the money and sides with Gecko, but later they both defect and bring down the scam.

  • The first movie is definately somewhere in my top ten list of favs. Stone was able to capture something great in the first film that made it a pleasure to watch, even more so over the years. Strongly built achitypes and a rise and fall (innocence, guilt, redemption) of Bud Fox made everyone feel that they were along for the ride. Also something I liked about the film was a certain palpable feeling of optimism that you get from some 80's films.

  • Douglas wasn't a great actor until he made Wall Street. People thought he wasn't committed to roles, just working for paycheck, and was better suited as a producer. Working with Oliver Stone really changed his acting career.

Hopefully, Oliver Stone can do the same for Shia. He's a good actor, but the transformers movies didn't showcase that talent.

I'm just worried because it comes out in 3 months, and I haven't seen a trailer yet. I want this movie to be in the smallgroup of good sequels.

  • 4) No one is gonna remember the story. How do you market the story to mainstream audiences?

    5) You have an actor playing against type in Shia Labeouf. I'm not saying he won't be good, but don't count on getting the mainstream audience transformers got.

    6) The Times. Will the economy affect audience perceptions of this story?

I really hope this movie is great. I love the casting, even Shia Labeouf. I think he'll really enjoy working with Michael Douglas, who wasn't big name until he

  • It just occurred to me this week that the studio is going to have many troubles marketing this movie.

    1. Wall Street was made in 1987 and geared at a middle age- republican- capitalistic audience. Most of that audience is older and can't easily get to the theater.

    2. Michael Douglas was a bad mentor/villain in the first movie. Now he's an "anti hero" in the words of oliver stone.

    3. Oliver Stone hasn't made a good movie since 1995 and everybody hates him today. He's a joke.

  • nobody wants to see the guy that gets in a scheme and only last in this business for 3 years, that's a shitty story, nobody wants to see the guys that end up in court and going to jail, that's a shitty story, nobody wants to hear about the guy that does insider trading lives the high life for 3 years then ends up in jail, what kind of short term shitty story is that. I could say alot on but, i really hope they get a good story on this one.

  • I can't wait for this movie, the first one, gosh bud fox was such a sell out, i could only watch the 1st wall street half way, cause after that bud fox start making mistakes, and everything starts getting shitty. I really hope in this wall street they finally get it right, and show you the life you can have if you know what your doing. get in, learn the business, live the life you want, keep on doing it day after day, month after month, year after year.

  • Right on...Even Leonadro DiCaprio would have been a more reasonable choice.

  • Will everyone stop bashing in shia labeouf... he is 23, and already a fantastic actor and has a great devotion to each of his roles. yes, there is a great cast in this movie, and shia only adds to the greatness. so stop being a jerk, saying he has no "sex appeal" or not talented enough.

  • Apart from Shia, the rest of the cast looks solid. Gekko (Michael Douglas) & Bud Fox (Charlie Sheen) are back. Even though, I might have visions of "Two & Half Men" whenever Charlie Sheen appears.

  • i love shia labeouf! im sooo glad hes in it! but i dont understand what wall street is about. i want to see it cause shia is in it but i dont know what it is about? what character is shia labeouf playing?

  • @Alexchannel217 Am sorry but it seems that there's a lot u don't know! And to say that all u want see is Shia, r u mad, this is really shallow! Maybe u could start by watching the first "Wall Street (1987)" and then we can talk. But I still maintain, Shia is an awful choice for that kind of movie.

  • maybe, if its for "older men" . but shia is a good actor, and he has a good abilitity to act in serious roles such as tformers 1 and 2, holes, disturbia, eagle eye. so who knows? we didnt see the 2nd movie yet so who knows how he'll do? but in my opinion hes a very talented young actor who is going to have a very successful career. lol maybe i am shallow as far as this movie goes, cuz i love shia!

    -alex-

  • well considering i wasnt even a live in 1897...lol idk. but i might be able to see this one, unless its rated r.

  • @Alexchannel217 Eagle Eyes, ok maybe, but Transformers?! Absolutely not, lol. I'd say Michael Bay wrecked/stained Shia's career there & then... "Wall Street 1" is pretty good. It will obviously feel dated if u watch it now but it's more to do with that Gordon Gekko character... great acting on the part of Michael Douglas. So yeah u'd need solid mature actors if Wall Street 2 wants to be a worthy sequel. I was thinking of Russell Crowe instead Shia, 'coz he wasn't too bad in "A Good Year (2006)."

  • i think transformers 2 was great. you cant say michael bay stained his career, because even if you thought it was a stupid movie (which its my fave) you have to admit shia is the perfect role for the character sam witwicky. like seriously, hes sooo good at improv, and hes just perfect for it. i cant picture anyone else playing that role. and disturbia was really really great .shia was the youngest one to win an oscar at age 16. hes a talented young actor and he has a successful carrer in head.

  • i dont even know who russell crowe is! lol

  • Why Shia Laebouf?? No sex appeal, limited acting talent, not assertive enough in his roles . Who keeps casting this guy in good movies? He must have a hell of an agent.

  • lol, i once read a funny comment where he was referred to as "Jar Jar Binx" :D

  • he is gorgeous, extremely talented, and has great diversity in each of his roles...think of it...disturbia, eagle eye, greatest game...., bobby...all completely different roles, and he plays all of them GREAT!

  • i should be in it

  • Boy some of the negative comment people are making about SHIA.

He is an actor for cryin out loud! you know as in he plays different characters. Everyone assumes he is going to be playing the guy from Transformers, when he is obviously not. He is going to be playing a very on th edge young stock market up and commer.

Remember who is directing this....He is very good with his casting and these actors have to prove to him that they can play the character exactly how Stone envisions it.

  • I was originally STOKED about this movie, then I found out Shia LaDouche was cast in it..

  • why shia? couldnt they find someone better?

  • omg my uncles in it!! <3

  • I would make the movie reversed now. Like Gekko gets out, but the economy has changed, and now a wizz-kid teaches him the new online economy. To make it different than the first one. But I am disappointed in their choice of ShiaLeBeof, he doesn't have the nerve to parallel Douglas. Imo.

  • he's paralleled bigger and better than Douglas without breaking a sweat.

  • I can't believe that this is going to be a movie!!! I love this film im such a fan I'm about to watch this again now I how the soundtrack is as good as the first and its great to see Michael back in this role I don't think and one else could have played him

  • This ad concept reminds me of the film Crazy People. Well done.

  • all I have to say is..Wallstreet could Be a Box Office Smash, considering all the fans who are anxiously waiting for part 2...also, this could earn Shia Lebouf a nomination, if its in the right month. Bottom line is. It could make him or break him!! This movie isn't transformers, its BIGGER, in my opinion!!

  • I hope this is going to be better than transformers 2, wall street 1 was amazing

  • Flashes must screw up the shoot. Why don't any of the extras where white? I was trying to get myself in there as an extra and a woman started laughing saying that i would get stopped because of my white dress shirt?

  • is this movie going to make it to theaters?

  • April 2010

  • How many times is the guy going to say NO FLASH

  • a PA's gotta do his job...
