Anyways, my exhaust isn't "rusty." It still isn't in October of 2011. If I ever get an exhaust tip, it will be on a performance exhaust system. Once again just a shitty comment from someone who can't feel complete in life without dishing out insults. Who knows where you'll get your next "fix." "haha." Derrr!!

If you're ok with the pipe lookin like that then fine, it's just my opinion. The 10 buck tip I put on mine is probably the 10 best I spent on the car. Adds a lot to the looks.
@Sampson712. Well saying somebody owns anything "rusty" isn't very nice. Besides, it isn't rusty. Just because yours might be doesn't mean mine is. I don't have a base G5. It is the intermediate model, it has the five lug wheels, sport suspension and and USB that base models do not have. It's nothing to boast about. Definetly not, it's still just a inexpensive car. A performance exhaust and air intake system will benefit ANY vehicle with better fuel economy, unless you stomp on the accelerator.
@GranFury440 There's base and gt. You might have base with a few extras, but I consider it base, and it is base for all purposes in terms of identifying what car you have and what parts you need. I don't think I've ever even heard of someone considering putting a PERFORMANCE exhaust for better fuel economy.

By your definition even a GT would be just a base car with even more extras lol. The better an engine can breathe the more efficient it is.

@Sampson712. GM and dealers do not refer to my vehicle as a base at all. In fact after I bought it they made sure to tell me that I got a great deal because it wasn't a base model. They pointed out why it's not a base, including the fact that I have the same basic suspension, bolt pattern and same exact engine as that year's GT. GT is only in name and a few goodies as of 2009. Seems to me that you're bothered about me having a few insignificant perks over your car. Otherwise you wouldn't insult

And like I said, we have similar cars, but it seems from the video mine actually has a few more "insignificant perks" than yours, not that it matters. And who's insulting? I've worked for several dealers and know this shit well enough. Especially with the hardware like the suspension and bolt pattern. If you have a car like mine with the bolt pattern and a few more options than me it doesn't matter, if you do your car isn't a base either. 4 lug are absolute base cars. Rust "haha" isn't an insult?

The last part of the video tells you the most and really backs up what I've been trying to tell you. After watching that and you STILL want to call everything other then a GT "base" then you're just stubborn and close minded to the truth.
@STICKYFINGERKOMAAA. Cool. They are a good car, not the most fancy but they are fun. Mine has a bit over 11,000 miles now and has broken in, after the engine loosening up it has gotten quite a bit faster, in fact it feels like the power I had in my 3.1 V6 1992 Chevy Beretta.
