Helen/Nikola: Bad Romance

@iDJMIXTRESS What program do you use? I use Sony Vegas so that's what I know most about.

@iDJMIXTRESS Okay, well it should be the same. To blend two clips, you simply drag the second clip to a separate video track directly below the first and change the opacity of the first clip by dragging down the bar at the top of the track.

@iDJMIXTRESS To make an overall background, you use essentially the same principal. You can choose any image/background you want (copied from a file on your computer or from within the program) and add it to a video track above all the rest. Then you can change the opacity of the background picture so it's just like a blending effect.

Great video!!! I always liked the sparring between the two of them. The only thing I didn't understand is when they thought they were going to lose Helen in an episode, he was almost blase about it. Seemed out of character for all the flirting and sparring he does with her. Still, have my hopes maybe someday... =)

Oh Goodness Gracious! I've been watching this at least once a day for the past...eh, few weeks?

There are so many parts of this movie that I love, but I have to say those first 15 seconds are the best 15 seconds of any music video...ever. The way it matches the beat, and the way you pieced the clips together is nothing short of brilliant! With Tesla locking the dorr, and then it cutting to him saying something in the way that only Tesla can do, and Helen looking back. Good stuff!

I am usually not a huge fan of massive effects in fanvids, but your consistent usage of them, not to mention the cleverness of your layering, really works for the pairing and the song. I think one of my favourite moments is around the minute mark, where you make it look like it's Helen who runs him over the with car. Great job.
