@12151998able It's an old Houdini trick although Teller puts his twist on it. Obviously the threaded needles aren't the original ones. I suspect when he bites the apple that's how he's disposing of the original needles (you'll notice he uses two hands and two bites). Then when he puts his finger in to hold his mouth open, he's tucking in the threaded needles. The rest is showmanship.

Not to take away from what he's doing, it's great work. But I believe that's how.

Teller is brilliant!!!! I have just about watched EVERYTHING that guy has done & 2 things stand out to me. One, there was a movie or a TV show in which he played himself & he was asked about what he hated about magic. He did a couple of cheap magic tricks then walked out in the funniest way possible. I almost pissed myself laughing. Another is an educational video on YouTube in which he actually talked & explained how he did a trick. He's a great teacher...interestingly enough he used to be one.

at 3:15 he putts the nails into the apple with his toung and pulls out them out of the apple afterwards

and he is holding the wrapped nails from 4:13 in his hand and puts the in at 4:23
