  • Im an art tearcher in Brasil(Santos) and will have to propare a work about Belgium folk dance .

Is this dance and music are traditional in Belgium? Do they have any special meaning?

    Thank

    Sonia

It is a traditional belgian folk dance but it's not the right song.

The traditional song is hard to find.

This song is from a Belgian folk group called Laïs and the song is called " 't Smidje"

  • I know you didn't ask for this little piece of advice.. But trust me...It'll make it easier and less awkward for the girl to go and dance with the gent behind.. :-)

  • Chapeloise or Chapelloise (danced to jigs).. For the last move, the girls change places to dance with the gent behind them not forward :-)
