Oh God I remember seeing this on "TOTP" - it was the first time I had ever seen them, and they did make an impression! I remember talking about them with my classmates the next day. And of course they only got more fabulous; I saw them live in 1979, and I cherish the memory :) RIP Freddie.

Then again, they were a band for misfits and outcasts really (sorta like The Ramones) and I mean that in a completely GOOD way. A band like Sparks would have been completely lost on fans of Lynyrd Skynrd!
