You, my friend, are a life-saver. The Flail is harder to master, because once the combo ends.. you have an open spot. For beginners, this is PERFECT.

And if you want to spend time learning how to kill these with the Flail, then go for it. BUT this is my preferred way of killing them from now on :)

if you know how to use the flail right then you should be able to destroy these ugly fish. They always come in groups 5-10, use the combo that's only availabe for lvl2 (don't know the name), its the one where he shifts it left and right and you can hold it for about 3 seconds then end it with y. After you realize that that swarm of fish is gone stop the combo then restart when you see the next wave. This worked for me and i never got bitten. (maybe once when i was trying to get the essence)

why? This is a very efficient way to kill the ghost fish. If you use the flail, you will get bitten. But if you jump back and forth and press x, you are untouchable. Now if you just hate ninja gaiden, that could be a reason why it wasted 1 minute of your life. And you clicked the video, this is your fault.

thats the same thing i said, i just used the lunar and it got a lil bit easier, the palace was stupid cuz i had 4 floors of nonstop enemies and like 1 bottle of great spirit elixir, and evrtyime the fish attacked me i wud prees evry button on my controller to get em off and accidently use the elixir, that quick inventory was a bad idea

Well, for beginners, I suggest that you use the flails, because it's the fastest and SAFEST way to kill the bastard fishes. + ( I highly reccomend to use the Art of the Fire wheels because you can move around while the ninpo is still activated!) :D But this is also a pretty good stragety too! If you want to use the dragon sword instead, that's great but I think that the flail should be a lot better! Btw, I love your videos! 5/5 stars.

this is way to slow. use the flails. tap X a times, then jump to break the combo before leaving yourself planted and open. they can't hit you while you're jumping. once you land, rinse and repeat.

If you want to have fun, hit a couple with the UF, then jump and OL UT. Rinse and repeat.

You could but the only problem is the delay after doing a combo which the fish are able to attack, with the sword there isnt a delay.

I guess you could you use that technique but I find it easier just to use xy combo with the dragon sword. Just jump towards the fish and when you land press x to do a whirlwind attack and press y to slash up and when you land press x again and repeat. So you dont have to do all the jumping around. Oh and you also spelled "ghost" wrong in the vid.

Hopefully you should just about break even on red essence, take lots of devil elixirs just in case. With this technique you can easily max out on money, visit Muramasa and have a full inventory for when you fight the Emporer...

Not a bad technique... when I'm "fishing" for profit I use Dragon Sword and Art Of Fire Wheels. Run in, and just as the fish pounce use Fire Wheels. This should create a lot of essence. Charge an ultimate technique and release just as the next "wave" of fish appear; this creates bigger essence.Take this essence and repeat the fire wheels.

This is a good way to kill them without getting hurt, but it's too slow if your trying to get karma. I still prefer vigoorian flails, just be sure to tap the buttons of the combos a bit slower than usuall, so you have a more delayed combo and less chance for them to attack you.

ummm. if u guys havent noticed... there is a boundry that the fishes DO NOT pass. so stay near that boundry with the flails. hit several of um then run back to the safe zone. this way, i will gerrentee that u will not lose any health. this way saves alot of potions and nimpos for the devil fiend and bosses.

i found an easier way is to do the x combo with the flail till all the fish are dead(dont finish the x combo or it will pause and the fish will get you) anyway every time the last fish is dead jump in the air press x once then repeat.

if you are still having problems mastering the a-x move, use the art of the fireballs first, it helps, plus you'll get a red essence sooner or later so you don't really lose much. those damn gosth fish are annoying!
