I could definitely do some more petty. I also loved his under-stated style -- solid as a rock. It was a good beginning influence on me to have to be in the pocket AND have a few little chops here and there at the same time. I'll look in my catalogue and see what tickles my fancy and try to get something else up.

Has anyone noticed that the first four crashes in the studio version of this song (at least off the greatest hits collection) seem to be doubled (like [2] 1/16ths almost)? Or is that just an echo that was added into the mix later? Anyone hear that, it's strange.

what usb interface do you use? i have a mixer and mics but my usb interface (Transit by M audio) makes skips and pops in the recordings.

i don't use a USB for video/audio, it is way too crappy quality with freezing and stuff. I feed audio and video into an a/v pci card that I bought for my computer and capture both in real time. One feed from mixer (audio) second feed from camera (video).

It's just called "TV WOnder" by ATI. It accepts red/white/yellow phono for audio/vid or s-video + audio if you want to do it that way. It comes with really easy to use software. I love ATI.

Oh, and it was less than 100 bucks too. I don't know if it's available still because i bought it about 3 years ago.
