  • Wow she's fat, but looks liek Rihanna

  • @WetPooooopie I think she still looks good so she put on the pound big deal who wouldnt at her age.

  • Comment removed

  • I just love her. She became free.... free of abuse of a man...if you can call him that.

  • Ronnie Spector, yes.

  • I Love You Ronnie !!!

  • In a recent picture I saw of her it looked like she lost over 50 lbs. compared to this video. Good for her, still a nice looking woman in her late 60's.

  • WOW. She has a phenomenal voice.... Hasn't left her.

  • sass-ah! glad this vid was uploaded. glad i got to see ronnie's personality in technicolor. she having fun!

  • Another comment please: Ronnies voice is better now, 2011, since she has lost weight but I am wondering if she is well? ANYONE KNOW??

  • RONNIE WILL ALWAYS LOOK BEAUTIFUL TO US HARD CORE RONNIE LOVERS!

She is very thin now and small! Dammmmmm Ronnie====

  • Know. Just went a little 2 quick, so I 4got a word. Shoot me!

  • I could give a good diddly squat what h8trs say. Superficial, ignorant twits from hell! Obviuosly so very uniformored, or 2 stuck on stupid to even who Ronnie is. The Ronettes were an incredible Girl Group! And though we have lost one of them, they, Ronnie will, still be "THE RONETTES". Raspy??? Who gives a S***! I think it's sexy. She's still the BOMB!

  • Is this her only hit? I am unaware of any other song by her.

  • Man! Even if she put on wait, I'd close my eyes, and just listen to her talk all day. Not only a unique singing voice...even hearing her talk....mmmm....

  • This Hurts to watch!

  • WOW! She got fat!

  • Ronnie was one of the most sensual and talented girls in a girl group in history.

I LOVE HER......THEN AND NOW. STILL LOVE YOU BABY....mmmuuuuaaaa..

  • asi pasen los años la epoca de los 60s no se olvidaran jejeje lady gaga es basuraa

  • I don't care what her critics say on here, for me she's still got it! Groovy, Ronnie, baby! Groo-v-y!

  • just like ronnie sang: be my little baby!

  • I love you Ronnie, but please get out of Ted's way.

  • she looks tina turner of crack cocaine and she sounds like a man hahaha IS THAT THE REAL DEAL? WHAT HAPPEND

  • @kiwichicke27 At least she can form a coherent sentence.

  • It would be nice if we could all stay the same age and nothing change. But we know that is not going to happen. Ok so her voice has changed with age and she's put on a few pounds and this may not be the best version of the song. But I enjoyed it and it brought back memories. I still enjoyed it and that to me is all that matters

  • She has to be 65 now, still looks fine, and not bad on the vocals.

  • Time to give it up dear, if you sing in any lower key the musicians will run out of lower end notes to play (LOL) and the crowds they are gettin smaller.

    you've had a good run

  • Ronnie rrrrrrrRRRROOCKS!!!!

A golden voice seamlessly blending rock, pop & soul with warmth and edge.

Thank you Ronnie for your slice of enduring magic on the mic!

  • Shes a Great singer but DAMN she put on some weight

  • nice ti see ronnie again, she looks great.

  • Ronnie is always Ronnie .. beautiful and talented.

    I adore her ...

  • Ronnie, no matter what comment bad, she rocks..there group was great..

  • RIP voice. I feel bad for what she had to go through, but she wanted to be a star, so well, that's the way it is.

  • now this will stack in my head as image

  • I love her

  • Just saw Ronnie at a PBS concert this weekend and this video doesn't look or sound like her.

  • wow she is something !! is she still singing what a nice perform!!!

  • well...not bad...

  • Strangely, Ronnie is looking and singing much better now than she was in this 12 year old clip.

  • An ICON!

  • no no just just stop it Ronnie .. no lol

  • SHE CAN sing 4 the songwriters of the

    UNIVERSE any fuckin

    milllenium

  • OMG!

  • Ronnie what the fuk??

  • WOOOW

  • O_O

  • W O W

  • Always a pleasure to see Ronnie singing

    She's an angel 5*****

  • now... guys.. somebody tell me.. what is it with her and the ramones? wats the connection ?

  • @darkmourning Phil Spector produced the ramones "end of the century" record...

  • joey was a big fan and they were really good friends also phil spector recorded one of the albums rock n roll high school i think :)

  • Good for her getting up there and singing her heart out for us all.

  • Ronnie can still sing and Phil Spector wasn't always a total douchebag, he did create the wall of sound.

  • he might have been a genius but he didnt treat ronnie right

  • phil wasnt all that he used other peoples ideas for alot of his music.he was trash from the word go

  • Alas, poor Ronnie. Still love her singing. Loved it back in the 60s when I was a young man.

A lot of bad choices; tragic. Not the least of which was Phil Specter.

  • you show them ronnie .you still have it. remember that little studeo in manhattan when you triped over my high hat stand and droped your water on me.lol lots of love . mikie

  • Cool Woman

  • Still Great!!!

  • O melhor desta apresentação foi quando ela saiu do palco !!!

Não dá !!! O tempo chega para todos !!

  • Musicans are good but there is no balance,,is one level of sound,,,must be three dimensions like in 60-ties

  • her voice changed but she got different sound ,,,it is ok,,

  • The posts on here, wow. Ronnie is a train wreck. Then I reflect on her life choices, actions, tendency to blame everything on her marriage to Phil Spector 40 years ago...her inability to admit the gifts are gone...her need to get up like this and embarrass herself...letting her sister die all alone in some dumpy apartment in Jersey; Nedra has only had contact with Ronnie twice, out of absolute necessity, in 40 years. But you guys? You guys are hanging in there! To each his own I guess!

  • You ain't nothin but jealous and jealousy is an evil thing.

  • I LOVE RONNIE always have and always will

  • Thanks Miss Ronnie...................

  • Ronnie will always be a doll to me. I can't remember when I did not know who the Ronettes were. When the first came out the country was in such racial turmoil which fortunately I'm too young to remember. But I remember them three being so gorgeous that color never came to mind. Anyone that couldnt see past that was, and still is a fool.

  • I do, and I still love her (in secret)

  • She's lost the 'power' in her voice. Shes still good, but was better...

  • you are right,,,when she was young,,,she was so sexy and her voice ...nobody can sing better that she did in 60-ies

  • rock on ronnie god bless

  • Ronnie i have always loved you and always will, Caleb N. Ginyard 111.

  • Her face is prettier now than when she was younger!

  • THAT IS SO TRUE! Her face looked the worse in the 80s. But I will say she was cute as a younger woman in the 60s. But her face looks great here.

  • Ronnie you are beautiful...ever more so...for giving pleasure to so many people

  • Ronnie, I just wanna add to this - you will always be irreplaceable. Thank you, thank you for so much good music, and thanks for sticking around through thick and thin. Your voice has defined an era of American music. Peace out to you and yours. -Vince

  • Ronnie is 66 years old now. Born in August of 1943. Not many still willing to take the stage at 66!

  • the best of the best

  • Imagine only being judged on what you looked like instead of who you are.

So if you are wounded in a war are you going to be judged on your looks or the fact that you were a hero?

Superficial people, however, are judged on their comments.

Ronnie is beautiful and nothing can change that.

  • @shyryfan ATA GIRL...

  • @shyryfan So just because you were wounded you automatically become a hero? That is both stupid and incorrect logic, sir.

An amazing singer and woman nonetheless..

  • @azynkron One tends to treat those who sacrificed their lives for their country with respect. Therefore that is a heroic deed. The fact that you call that "stupid" and "incorrect" shows me you are either extremely young and ignorant, possibly extremely spoiled and catered to, or you have never sacrificed for the greater good or perhaps both.

Nevertheless you missed the whole point of my post which is that we are not what we look like on the outside but who we are on the inside.

  • @shyryfan You couldn't be more wrong. About everything. There's no honour in death, just death. I can respect a deed, but not because somebody died "for their country".. whatever that means.

  • @azynkron Sorry you missed the whole concept. The honor is in the way one lived. To sacrifice one's self for another is quite honorable and selfless.

Just go talk to some of the people who sacrificed during WWII. Maybe they can find the words to reach you.Other than that I beg to differ and I strongly believe that you are the one who is wrong. And again, you continue to miss the whole point of my post-which who we are on the inside is of greater value than the outside. Sorry you don't get it.

  • @winstonthefan Maybe you should try to explain better then? You are also contradicting yourself. First you say it lies in the way you live then it lies in the sacrifice? Makeup your mind.

  • @azynkron my god you sure are one dimensional and unable to grasp concepts outside your comfort zone.

I have exhausted intelligent comments with you. If you do not understand that the way one lives, i.e. risking your life could end in death, then you are not capable of understanding anything I say. And yet you hold on to that over the major point which seems to escape your simplistic mind-It's what's on the inside that counts. However, you might be the exception to the rule.

  • @shyryfan Also this video has gotten 119,000+ more views than anything these haters will ever do

  • @richluvsellie

    dickhead

  • SHE´LL BE THE INN LOVE FOREVER !

  • SHE IS LOVE FOEREVER !!

  • Ronnie is just amazing. You'd think she'd get tired of singing this song after almost 50 years but I've never seen her phone it in. OK she couldn't hit the high notes that night, but she still gave it her all. And who knows how many songs she sang before she closed it out with Be My Baby? The emotion is still there, and that's what makes her great.

  • Ronnie Spector, you are a special angel. You survived your nut case husband and you still are beautiful. You are still great. I love you so!

  • wow...salute to veronica bennet..my auntie rockers...i love u..from sabah malaysia.

  • Okay yes this performance is bad, but she's paying her respects to the Ronettes. She WAS the Ronettes. Without her they wouldnt have been. Come on. She's 65. She looks great for that. And this isn't her type of music. It sounds more like she's a rocker now. I think it's amazing if you ask me. I love Ronnie<3

  • Whats mind boggling, is that you forgot about the simple love for music. You forgot about the feeling you get just really letting lose on a song you love to sing. You forgot about the inner beauties of a person. How you have the nerve to even dis a legend is...mind boggling! She can do no wrong in my eyes.

  • It sounds like you don't know what its like to live everyday for the first time. For you to even judge someone's life, is simply wrong. I think, because she dedicated her life to her passion for music, and then accomplished that dream,is amazing in anyones quest of passion. Whatever reason you think is right to dis this woman, i'm just laughing at ya. Because, you can hardly live the life that she has, it's as simple as that! lol Get off that bullsh*t, and start learning some real sh*t man.

  • Ouch ouch........I didn't know about the baby in the toilet story.

  • Veronica if you see this, know that you still own this song as far as I am concerned. Once great, always great.

  • remember me to Mariska Veres (love her,R.I.P.),

but music is music (its about the heart of music, nothing else). Thank you.

    s.b.egl.

  • She's fine for 65 ( she looks 25 )

  • I think this woman is not Ronnie...she's terrible and fat!!!!

  • You're wrong. I think it IS Ronnie. But, you're also right.......she sounds horrible. Let's not forget.....we all age. She certainly has let her voice "go" (deteriorate).

  • Yeah! It's her. She is 65 years old. Fat and terrible happen to the best of em' to.

  • con el pelo wero seria divine

  • Ronnie sure looks great to me and her voice is still great also! Luv you Ronnie, Jimmyratz

  • Sorry - I love the Ronettes, don't want to remember them like this , sad

  • God pardons, life don't. you are one more of this now, like me.

  • this video is 10years old look at ronnie now

  • how does she look now?

  • she looks 20 years younger, look at her from the rock and roll hall of fame year 2007

  • where can i find a vid or pics from that?

  • Damn she's still got a great voice....

  • Jeeez... give her a break! She's 65 and still has a great voice. I wonder how you will look at that age.

  • how sad these people were fantastic in their day,

May be a lesson for us all!!!!!!!!

  • i thought it was a funny comment lol

  • made me laugh

  • She has definitely had a nose job on that nose of hers. It used to be much bigger.

  • I wouldnt have been her baby this time.

  • haha, true dat.

  • She could,be drunk, stoned, done 4 shows on the same night and she would still sound good !

  • I think Ronnie had some drinks before singing and that would do it to the voice. When I saw her a few years ago she was kicking butt. Also, she's no youngster so she has to be careful with what she does and pulling two shows in one night is grueling to any singer regardless of how old you are. Believe me, I've lived it many times. Ronnie needs to change that look for the Ronettes years passed a long time ago. She looks gothic.

  • Ill bet you she wears black to make her look thinner.

  • Amen to that sister.

  • if i were Ronnie i'd be hiding at home.. she was gorgeous and a great singer centuries ago..but now ¬¬

  • Ronnie Is The Bomb!! She Sound's Great No Matter What to Me, She Just Awesome A Legend in All Time!! JS

  • You are absolutely right because she sounded great at the Rock and Toll HoF. She needs some rest and tea witrh honey to coat her throat.

  • To her critics. Nothing wrong with that voice that a good rest (that means NO SPEAKING or SINGING) for a month and then getting to a vocal coach who has the knowledge of how to repair some of the technique problems. Based on this video I'd say she just needs R and R. Good voices don't have to go to the dogs if they are taken care of. This one ain't shot yet, just tired from being overworked.

  • little rough

  • certainly that one remains very badly in seeing a decline thus but what has happened to you? it is not possible

  • people need to respect legends like her...she may be in her 60's...but she can still sing. by the way what ever happened to the other two girls?

  • go on ronnie your the tops

  • Responce To Cookiewooks,

No Matter What She Still Sounds Good, People Age & Change, look At Elvis, We Are All going there sooner or later,She gave us some great music, she is still the BOMB!! RONNIE YOU GO GIRL!!! GOD BLESS JS

  • Have you seen Arsenio Hall lately?

  • Just watched some old Ronettes footage (Walking In The Rain, Baby I Love You etc etc), then Ronnie singing 'Say Goodbye To Hollywood' then the Hall Of Fame stuff which was really nostalgic. This is horrible by comparison. She doesn't look or sound like the real Ronnie Spector.

  • Please tell me you didn't just critique a 65 year olds performance.

  • Ronnie, Estelle and Nedra were gorgeous girls back at my HS in the early 60's. Hey a lot of life happened in 40+ years. I have to hand it to Ronnie though, being married to that nut job (musical genius, but nut job nonetheless), she's truly a survivor.

Go Ronnie, hang in there for as long as you can, you are loved by your fans.

  • HERE IS "A MODERN RONNIE SPECTOR" COPY AND PASTE THIS IN THE SEARCH ON YOUTUBE

    Santogold - L.E.S. Artistes (HQ)

  • wow,I was there that night!Really ten yrs?

  • was that ten years ago? she still sings pretty good

  • it was a big punk party,w d generation. They used to have this song play before they went on,so it was a big suprise when she came out.Notice Todd Youth of Murphys Law on guitar

  • still the best by far!!!
