@MyBassCover Metallica's version was issued in 1984, Sonata Arctica was created in 1996, which means they at least recorded this version 12 years later than the original one. The sound is then "better" 'cuz the recording possibilities had increased in the mid 90's compared to the 80's. That's it. To my mind, the sound of the guitar arpeggio of Sonata's version is awful, and so are the synths. And so is the "No one but me can save myself" etc part. Anyway, Metallica and Sonata rule !

I personally think this wasn't too much, but I must admit that I don't like how it sounds compared to the original.
