well, according to cole and dylan sprouse, the company wanted zack and cody to grow up a little so they took out their mom to put them in a situation were they have to assume more responsibility. they said this on trl. might i also mention, they looked stunningly hot, especially cole. and their voices changed a whole lot, especially dylan's. sorry, guys i dont have any reason to why they pulled out the other characters.

Carey (Kim Rhodes) is not cast as a regular character on "The Suite Life on Deck".

When the first season's shows were being recorded Kim was going to have a baby, but she did appear for a few minutes during the first episode.

While watching the spots for the new series, I've noticed how Dylan & Cole's voices have changed.

If you watch one of the first episodes of "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody" and compare it to the first episode of "Suite Life on Deck" you can see how much Dylan and Cole have grown.

Dylan and Cole are growing up. Now, despite being twins, you can easily tell them apart so having Zack and Cody switch places with each other (and not get caught) really can't be done anymore.

It will be interesting to see what story lines the Suite Life on Deck's writers come up with.

"Suite Life on Deck" will be the new show (spin-off). Dylan & Cole Sprouse, Phill Lewis and Brenda Song will be returning full time. It has been reported that Ashley Tisdale and maybe Kim Rhodes will appear from time-to-time.

The new episodes being aired on Disney Channel were recorded a while ago. The writers' strike halted production of "Suite Life on Deck" so Disney sat on the remaining new episodes of Zack & Cody.

Now that the strike is over and "Suite Life on Deck" is back in production, Disney Channel will probably air those last new episodes and time the showing of the last one with the start of "Suite Life on Deck".
