@MRmadmatt999 Hi. I can't recommend that guitar because is a shit from my opinion. The only one piece great from this guitar is the neck, and has only one pickup and that's not versatile, but maybe you must try it before. I prefer Jackson RR. Check out to second hand to RR3 it has a bridge JT-580 from Jackson, really good.
@tnaluat94 Those are different guitars, and V-250 don't made now, maybe you can get it on second hand but check it out to V-401 it's almost the same guitar, although these guitars have a same problem, the bridge it's bullshit.
About of Rg420 i can't say nothing because i never had a Ibanez' guitar.
@V3rc3tti Alexi 200 costs 500 € because it's signature. It also has a downside, has only one pickup, if you play solos... Aren't there guitars for lefty people? I'm going to look for lefty guitar more or less cheap.
@todieforme Hey mate, i gotta ask ya.. How far down can u tune this beast ( alexi 200 ) without ruining the floyd rose? Because im thinking of getting one, and i wanna tune it from like C# to A# . Any advice?
@MetalGuitarist014 You can tune as down as you can (well in a certain way of course) A# is really low but you never ruin the floyd, all you gotta do is to adjust the tension of the springs in the back cavity. so : lower tunnings = lower tension that you'll need on the springs...adjust the action so you can get a nice tone and you're ready to go

hey probably a stupid question but how do you ask for someone to set up your floyd rose, tune it to DGCFAD and lower the guitars action [but not stupidly low] ?i dont speak it well enough :(
@vampyrhart Hi, that wasn't a stupid question, just go to a guitar shop like Guitar Center or whatever and say the exact same thing you just asked me :), but you'll need a heavier string gauge for that tone maybe 010-052. Anything else you let me know.
I got Alexi 200 LTD for 3 months now...sounds great for me...and I've been abusing the whammy bar everytime I play....never get out of tune. As for the pick up...I'm using EMH-HZ 4A.
@Spitontheflower Hi man, and thanks for your comment. If it's your first guitar then yes, it a good guitar for the first steps, but if not your first guitar i wouldn't recomend you, from my opinion the only piece from this guitar that is great, it's the neck. Hi man, I like your vid as it gives a good and decent view of the comparance. One thing tho, have you got anything to say about the tremolo since it's licensed? Does it stay in tune good? Or isn't it just the thing I'm looking for if I want to play some badass divebombs?
Hi and thanks man for your comment. About of the bridges I have to say: Jackson's bridge is under licensed but this is tackeuchi so it's really great ( not all Jackson's bridges are from Tackeuchi). The ESP's bridges (from my opinion) are shit, these don't keep the tone very well. If you want play "Dive Bombs", you'll be put it tone all the time.
@todieforme i think the alexi is the most comfortable , im gettin mine shipped this weak , the jacksons jack pokes my thigh when i play in classical syle
Hi man, the first thing thank you so much for your comment. I don't use amp for this video, i'm using Tone Port from Line 6, now that's called Pod Studio, I think.
well i just ordered a EMG H4pickup, but is that true that EMG sound like crap in a basswood body. or did you just mean actives?. help here would be appreciated
I'm sure Alexi may have played with Duncans at one point, but he uses EMGs now because he even has his own signature set. However, the guy at the shop is right, active EMGs won't sound good with a basswood body.
Yes, active EMGs tend to do VERY well with alder, in fact, all stock active guitars I've seen all have alder bodies. As for the 81/60 set, it sounds pretty good to me, its my preference when it comes to EMGs.
Yeah, I've never legitimately played through Blackouts myself either, but I've heard enough videos here to know what they can sound like. Blackouts sound really nice imo, a lot like the EMG 81/85 set, and I think Blackouts sound better with clean tones than EMGs do, but from what I have personally heard with EMGs, they are pretty much the best, most balls-to-the-walls, take no prisoners kind of pickup, especially with the 18v battery upgrade. It really is a tough comparison.
Many people ask me that. From my opinion EMG are the best pickups, but not for Alexi-200, because that guitar has 1 pickup and emg has too much gain, so in clean channel, the sound has a little bit of saturation. So I changed for a Seymour Duncan PA-TB1. You can listen the sound in others videos. Maybe you can test a EMH-HZ (H4), it's the same pickup that EMG-81 but is pasive, or the new signature Alexi's pickup.
I'm thinking of buying the same combo as in your Alexi 200 + EMG81 set, but I want a real sharp sound with lots of attack when it comes to treble. Does this combo give me that?
EMG-81 has a perfect attack, clear treble and bass saturated. The attack is good even if it's sharp sounds, but maybe you should test Seymour Duncan Blackouts.
I forgot it. I have changed the pickup for a SD PA-TB1 because on clean channel EMG (bridge) has a saturation sound and Alexi-200 has only one pickup.
k thanks i appreciate it cause i have an ibanez xpt700 and its just amazing so my next guitar i want it to be as amazing so and around the same price so thank you.
I have found the V250 2nd hand in brilliant condition and is under half the price new. Should i get this? It played allright but i was wondering if i could get something for the same price better?
K thanks. How are the pickups in them and how does the floyd play. ( it wasnt set up perfectly when i tried it. The trem was sinking into the body slightly.)
Alexi-200 has 1 pickup, it isn't versatile and it's a problem if you use clean channel or solos with good sound. The bridge is shit, the original pickup is bullshit, but it is comfortable,? the neck is fast and has 24 frets that's great. If that will be your first guitar, it's ok.
My guitar isn't actual Pro is RR-Professional of 1999. In my opinion Jackson has the best floyd under licensed, I don't know about of the new bridges but the old bridges has a Takeuchi's block.
Jackson also has a excellent neck, fast and narrow, the best for me.
It's worth the price because it's a great guitar, and you can play lead and rhythm.
okay dude looks like i need to change it , but later as you said cuz i don't have money for that i think :D thanks for both replies, btw good video and good playing.

Hahaha good idea the tattoo. You can also change the bridge for a Schaller or Floyd Rose, I changed the bridges on my guitars.
todieforme 2 years ago
Yeah, but that's like another 300 euros to get an original installed on it so I could better just buy the 600
qdsqd 2 years ago
@todieforme i think the alexi is the most comfortable , im gettin mine shipped this weak , the jacksons jack pokes my thigh when i play in classical syle

What amp are you using in this video? Your a great guitarist!!
666jony666 2 years ago
Hi man, the first thing thank you so much for your comment. I don't use amp for this video, i'm using Tone Port from Line 6, now that's called Pod Studio, I think.
todieforme 2 years ago
Thanks man.

v 250 sounds the best overall
guitardood941 2 years ago
Sorry but i don't understand, "falx"? What is it?
todieforme 2 years ago
well i just ordered a EMG H4pickup, but is that true that EMG sound like crap in a basswood body. or did you just mean actives?. help here would be appreciated
lewisstorer 2 years ago
Hi. Emg sound is great on basswood body from my opinion :)
todieforme 2 years ago
I'm sure Alexi may have played with Duncans at one point, but he uses EMGs now because he even has his own signature set. However, the guy at the shop is right, active EMGs won't sound good with a basswood body.
ReaperOfMen 2 years ago
Is EMG active good with Alder body ?
I have Jackson RR3 and i want to put it EMG 81/60, good choice ?
extrem547 2 years ago
Yes, active EMGs tend to do VERY well with alder, in fact, all stock active guitars I've seen all have alder bodies. As for the 81/60 set, it sounds pretty good to me, its my preference when it comes to EMGs.
ReaperOfMen 2 years ago
Ok, thanks !
What about the Seymour Duncan Blackout compared with EMG?
I want pickup that have a very good distortion for Metal, and I hesitate between EMG 81/60 and Seymour Duncan Blackout.
But I never tried SD Blackout. I played with EMG 81 and I found it very good.
extrem547 2 years ago
Yeah, I've never legitimately played through Blackouts myself either, but I've heard enough videos here to know what they can sound like. Blackouts sound really nice imo, a lot like the EMG 81/85 set, and I think Blackouts sound better with clean tones than EMGs do, but from what I have personally heard with EMGs, they are pretty much the best, most balls-to-the-walls, take no prisoners kind of pickup, especially with the 18v battery upgrade. It really is a tough comparison.
ReaperOfMen 2 years ago
My RR has EMG 81-60 now and that's perfect. You can listen it from my other videos.
todieforme 2 years ago
and what is the song that you play for the first test ?
extrem547 2 years ago
The first riff is "Old" from Machine Head
todieforme 2 years ago
EMG HZ H4 is a passive EMG 81... but has it same song than the 81 ?
extrem547 2 years ago
Yeah the sound is very similar, but Hz has a little bit less attack and saturation.
todieforme 2 years ago
Many people ask me that. From my opinion EMG are the best pickups, but not for Alexi-200, because that guitar has 1 pickup and emg has too much gain, so in clean channel, the sound has a little bit of saturation. So I changed for a Seymour Duncan PA-TB1. You can listen the sound in others videos. Maybe you can test a EMH-HZ (H4), it's the same pickup that EMG-81 but is pasive, or the new signature Alexi's pickup.
todieforme 2 years ago
When you were doing the tapping run, was that Alexi Laiho's "Betcha Can't Play This" lick?
ReaperOfMen 2 years ago
Yes, more or less that was Alexi Laiho's "Betcha Can't Play This" lick :).
todieforme 2 years ago
Well, it sounded enough like it, nice job.
ReaperOfMen 2 years ago
jackson more agressive and attack,
esp warmer and more defined, i prefer the jackson
1jack369 2 years ago
the jackson is also good, but i prefer the jackson rr24!
LaneyHead 2 years ago
and the winner is.......alexi 200!!! (with emg 81)
LaneyHead 2 years ago
I'm thinking of buying the same combo as in your Alexi 200 + EMG81 set, but I want a real sharp sound with lots of attack when it comes to treble. Does this combo give me that?
UnforgivenXII 2 years ago
EMG-81 has a perfect attack, clear treble and bass saturated. The attack is good even if it's sharp sounds, but maybe you should test Seymour Duncan Blackouts.
todieforme 2 years ago
I forgot it. I have changed the pickup for a SD PA-TB1 because on clean channel EMG (bridge) has a saturation sound and Alexi-200 has only one pickup.
todieforme 2 years ago
headbangerblooddrunk 2 years ago

those aren't the original alexi 200 pickups are they?
FocusShallNotFail12 2 years ago
It isn't, the original is a Emg-Esp and i'm using Emg-81
todieforme 2 years ago
headbangerblooddrunk 2 years ago
todieforme 2 years ago
headbangerblooddrunk 2 years ago

OK gracias

nice guitars ima get a dean razorback db although im thinking of getting the ltd v-250
oorah6991 2 years ago
Thanks man. The body of RazorBack is great, but I prefer V-250. NOw there is a V-401 DX, that's very similar to 250 or 350.
todieforme 2 years ago
k thanks i appreciate it cause i have an ibanez xpt700 and its just amazing so my next guitar i want it to be as amazing so and around the same price so thank you.
oorah6991 2 years ago
I have found the V250 2nd hand in brilliant condition and is under half the price new. Should i get this? It played allright but i was wondering if i could get something for the same price better?
It was £250 (i dont know how many $s tht is)
riflesndaisies 2 years ago
The V-250 with that price is perfect. I like so much this guitar, from my opinion :).
todieforme 2 years ago
K thanks. How are the pickups in them and how does the floyd play. ( it wasnt set up perfectly when i tried it. The trem was sinking into the body slightly.)
riflesndaisies 2 years ago
You're welcome. My V-250 has a Emg-hz and it's hasn't very good attack and harmonics. The bridge keep the tuning perfectly but it's not the best.
todieforme 2 years ago
I'm thinkin' about getting the "Alexi 200"
wouldu recommend that guitar?
Is it comfortable to play while sitting?
And how are the pickups`?
liammunky 2 years ago
Alexi-200 has 1 pickup, it isn't versatile and it's a problem if you use clean channel or solos with good sound. The bridge is shit, the original pickup is bullshit, but it is comfortable,? the neck is fast and has 24 frets that's great. If that will be your first guitar, it's ok.
todieforme 2 years ago
nice guitars man ur skills are insane
how are the emg hz pickups?
kirkmetalupurass 2 years ago
Sorry but i can't say in english, you can use this tag "Tremolo Squeals" on youtube.
Thanks for your comment :).
todieforme 2 years ago
que pedales usas?
headbangerblooddrunk 2 years ago
todieforme 2 years ago
Che usas POD farm? crees que podamos intercambiar presets?:)
jorge23000 2 years ago
todieforme 2 years ago
jorge23000 2 years ago

for the riff Jackson RR is better than ESP Alexi 200 and ESP V250

You're very welcome man.
todieforme 2 years ago
the rr-pro. the one that you played
puelladeluxe 2 years ago
My guitar isn't actual Pro is RR-Professional of 1999. In my opinion Jackson has the best floyd under licensed, I don't know about of the new bridges but the old bridges has a Takeuchi's block.
Jackson also has a excellent neck, fast and narrow, the best for me.
It's worth the price because it's a great guitar, and you can play lead and rhythm.
todieforme 2 years ago
what do you think about the jackson? how does it fell, is it worth the price and how is the bridge?
puelladeluxe 2 years ago
What Jackson serie?
todieforme 2 years ago
sweet guitars. what kind of amp/pedal?
Bpet18 2 years ago

The Ux2 a 180€ more or less.
todieforme 2 years ago
not your jackson man, i meant the price for any jackson rr :D thanks for sites.
ErgoDM 2 years ago
hey there's a last question :D
how can i learn technical things and price for that jackson guitar ? maybe it's the right thing buying that jackson, i'll check.
ErgoDM 2 years ago
For my Jackson? You can not buy, it's old, but you can check other Jackson in "Musik Produktiv" or "Thomann".
todieforme 2 years ago
okay dude looks like i need to change it , but later as you said cuz i don't have money for that i think :D thanks for both replies, btw good video and good playing.

You're very welcome man. Ok get lucky with your guitar and thanks
