I'm an ordained minister who personally owes over three hundred thousand dollars in medical costs due to the highly deceitful policies of insurance companies.
I was denied coverage as spinal fractures were misdiagnosed (by the insurer's doctor, who avoided the cost of a CT scan) concluding my 25% spinal misalignment was pre-existing.
After two years of collapsing legs, (now permanent) a pre-surgical CT proved the injury was not pre-existing.
This is a scam. Steve Forbes and Dick Armey are the creators of FreedomWorks, and are LOBBYING against health care reform using FAKE grassroots websites to fool people into doing things that are against their own interests. Don't believe me...Google it! I did.
Bottom line: What gives the government any authority in the constitution to be involved in health care? Read the 10th amendment. However, I doubt many of the people who have been posting these inane comments have any idea what is in the constitution.
Thanks, but no thanks. I'd rather trust the person we overwhelming voted in to office over the people fleecing America. The private sector had their chance to fix it by themselves and they just took advantage of the lack of regulation, now it is time to try a different solution.
Honestly though, the older generations throughout human history have always preyed on the sweat and blood of the young. Society shouldn't mortgage the young to pay for the greed and cynicism of the old.
Lies lies and more lies. Don't believe this corporate propaganda bullshit. Nothing but scare tactics and outright falsehoods to scare people from change. I wonder who funded this bullshit? Hmmm...
It is just sad that these profiteers will spend so much money on an add like this to keep you from the truth. These are the same people that tried to make you buy in on the thought that there was a "Death Tax" when it was actually an estate tax for heirs of millionaires, billionaires.
See the pattern? Feel manipulated to fight for the billionaire that is picking your pocket? Make them pay a tax once in awhile and that would pay for health care for those not currently covered.
@BizarreChild That could be why France is one f the countries that is going broke. Some of the other liberal countries gave retirement to people so young workers they are also going broke. There is something to be said about going to far, isn't there?
You've showcased where they are getting their funding, good for you. That doesn't mean what is said in this ad is either true or untrue - and that's the main issue.

How can humans continue to do this one another?

France has the best health care system in the world. They don't have greedy for profit health insurance companies like we do here.
Their seniors are better taken care of too.
Sorry but I'm for Obama on this one!!!!

Working on it. They make so many claims it takes a while to compile the information.

It is, however, untrue. Medicare and medicaid will not be in any way weakened by health care reform. Obama does not want to kill our grandparents.
