This argument does not take into account the number of unreported abortions. It is difficult to measure such unreported abortions but they do exist, and they still continue. I dispute the arguments put forth here, because of that issue. The assertion that only Democrat voters would have a legal abortion is not entirely true but the majority would be so. But the assertion that only a Democratic woman would have an abortion even if unreported, is not true. Most unreported cases are Republicans.
"Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished." Isaiah 13:16
"Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up." Hosea 13:16
Moral of the story: It is fine to kill babies in the name of God, but it is not acceptable to remove a clump of cells from your own body.
Yes, that is exactly what I said, or NOT. The point is that you theocratic types are all hypocrites. You want to make people follow your particular form of a particular religion when you ignore large swaths of your own holy book, since it conflicts with what you want to believe anyway. I do not support abortion. I am pro-choice because of medical privacy and being anti-theocracy.
Limit the need for it. Educate. Make adoption services available.
If abortion isn't bad, why do you suggest we should limit it? Because some people that are against it go to church on Sundays?
Isn't abortion the full achievement of female liberation? If so, shouldn't we encourage more, not less, abortions? You're just suppressing women's rights.
Typical straw man. I didn't say abortion isn't bad. It'll exist when banned. It'd just be more dangerous. Limit it by educating people, making adoption available, etc. And the majority of anti-choice people are hypocritical Christians (pro-war et al). Can't minimize that fact. And who brought up feminism?
Theocracy and privacy cannot co-exist. When your church dictates what people can or cannot do based on your version of faith, there is no such thing as freedom, liberty, rights, or privacy.
Please elaborate about your view that abortion is bad. Why? Too expensive? Or does it interfere with your daily latte run?
The only other reason I can come up with is that it ends the life of a human being. But by your logic, that isn't as bad as sitting in church on a Sunday morning.
I brought up feminism. The movement is nothing without abortion.
Well, this conversation is entirely pointless. Your little tirades are filled with insults and assumptions.
I have no problem with church-goers. I have a problem with those that are Christian Nationalists that would see their own form of Sharia Law governing the United States. Worship Jesus all you want. Just don't try making him the Head of State.
If there can be no compromise, you should be prepared to stay on the fringes of society. CNN/OCR poll: 68% do NOT support overturning Roe v. Wade.
Again, you only seem capable of fabricating straw men to attack. I do not take issue with all Christians. I take issue with pro-war theocrats that claim to be "pro-life."
Your questions are nonsensical. You have no real point. You mischaracterize and/or fabricate points to argue against.
People like you are on the fringes of society because polls show that most people do not support the position you hold. Statistically, that means you do not even represent a majority of Christians.

We've been doing it wrong all along!
Women - follow God - abort your babies now!
Birth = Blasphemy!
Reproduction = Evil!

Tirades? Hardly. So lets summarize your points since you're done with this conversation and avoiding my questions above.
Christians are pro-life AND pro-war.
Abortion stats fail to report the many christian abortions.
Christians would prefer a theocracy in the US.
Christians are hypocrites.
Christians are on the fringes of society.
My point: There are two types - one who worships God, another who plays God.

@westernwarhorse "I am pro-choice because of medical privacy and being anti-theocracy."
What do fetal rights have to do with theocracy or for that matter medical privacy?
