  • i wish i had a thumbs up for every time he said "Tigercat"

  • Don't think a skidder been used professionally in Sweden for at least 35yrs

  • @Axbent I think your correct on that. Tigercat came out with the 1135 wheeled harvester for the European market..

  • love tigercat

  • why would you wanna build somthing that is very rarely gonna break down thats how u run outta buisness look at bolens and tecumpsy built good products but built to good so they ran outta buisness

  • @539vhp What you said is true in some cases & is greatly dependent on the business model employed. Tigercat is, as compared to most of our competitors, a small company with between 600 to 800 employees. Tigercat doesn't even have an assembly line. One person is in charge of & responsible for the assembly of each machine.

  • ist das eine geile maschine.

  • Tigercat is what the Swamp Loggers TV show use

  • Yes they are :-).

  • Man I hate working on skidders. Imagine this machine breaks down in the middle of swamp. It may be challange to just to get there with my big ass service truck. And try to jack it up in that soft mud. I hate my job. No actually I love it. When I am in dirty and mud, I imagine myself at a clean walmart parking lot. Nice and hard concrete. LOLO.

  • @jujutube123 hahah nice job

  • para destruir a natureza sempre existe grandes ideias e grandes maquinas., ps: alguem do Brasil.

  • Best Skidder available on the market today. They are built like tanks, more efficient with the hydro drive and the most comfortable to operate. They drag a ton of wood and you can keep them going forever because they are built so heavy duty.

  • it looks like a lot of thought has gone into it, i would buy one

  • no gear shift, cool. id take that job in a heartbeat

  • i want a tigercat skidder

  • The Video runs like a Diashow

  • i very well enjoyed the video \m/

  • there are many Tigercat in scotland

  • In all the years of being a plant machinery enthusiast I have never heard of the Tigercat brand. Brilliant promotional video, I like manufacturers promotional videos.

  • Ponsse i much better

  • "Ponsse i much better"

    In your dreams maybe.

  • @eikka3 Jeah coz ponsse so makes a better skidder. . . The only ponsse machines i ever see are always having problems.

  • what do you do at tigercat

i knowsome of the people well

  • I am a machinist. I run a boring mill on which I mostly machine arms for the felling heads.

  • there are a number in maine

  • i never see any tigercats around here there is only one

  • I never seen these machines in action and I help make them. There is no forestry industry close to were I live and unlike John Deere we only produce equipment for logging.

  • if the risers are tight on the bottom it should not be to bad to install the bolts in the link from the riser to the cab

  • john deere is better

  • Do you know how John Deere got into the logging heavy equipment industry? They bought up timberjack, a company we beat competitively, by producing a better product. John Deere's only advantage over Tigercat is money. Being a much bigger company & diversified into other industries they can afford to support their logging equipment division until it starts to make a profit. At the end of the day it's cost/ton that is the true measure of a machine & Tigercat hydrostatic machines win at cost/ton.

  • yeah but all that extra steel like the one on the exhaust makes it a bitch when you have to unbolt the roll bars at the top so you can jack the cab onto its side to work on it...then you have to pick them up and try to put them back in place while at the same time trying to thread a bolt lol and the tiger cat is way better then the 648 deere

  • nice

  • i have run them both also the tigercat has more power pulls more and burns less fuel and you dont have to shift all day

  • Amen! I read on the tigercat web sight that John deere did a study on a 3/4 mile flat track with a 620C setup for extremely steep or rough terrain and a 748H. Nice and flat for the 748H so it didn't have to do too much shifting. Both machines with the same load. Then they used the results to claim the tigercat uses more fuel. Tsk tsk. Cost per ton is the correct measure.

  • lots of power but the 648 john deere is alot more opperator freindly and more comfortable, ran em bolth

  • Looks like a really decent skidder....I want one! WT

  • Fucking nice :)
