This is the REAL-DEAL Wishbone-Ash -Andy Powell stayed thee entire stint to date.. Marty Turnstile lost his voice uses a pitch corrector his band is very lame due to not playing many gigs- but stealing from the REAL DEAL,Mark Birch sang this as sure as a bear schitts in thee woods leastburst -blackangel- yur comments don't hitt the cheap seats as well
THE ORIGNAL IS A NICER MORE MELLOW AND DEEP SOUND AND THE BASS A ND TWIN LEAD MAKES THE DIFFERENCE YOU CANT BEAT THE ORIGINAL LINE UP BUT I THINK YOU MIGHT BE RIGHT AND SAYING ITS NOT ANDY POWEL SINGING ON THIS VERSION I STAND CORRECTED STILL VERY GOOD THOUGH.
This is a Wishbone Ash but from album BARE BONES compilation with re-recorded version of this fantastic song... Original version is little bit different but this one is much much fresher :)
Mark Birch former guitar player is singing this song. Bob Skeat on bass, the wonderful Andy Powell on second guitar (playing the guitar solo) and Ray Weston a scottish drummer komplett the band at that time. Mark Birch was one of the best singers Wishbone Ash has in the last 40 years. Only Martin Turner former original bass player could reach this level. Great song from a super band.
I think it is Wishbone Ash led by Andy Powell from the Rare Bones album. It is an acoustic album which accounts for the difference in sound. But this is Andy's voice.
This song is one of my all time favs. Listen to the version on wishbone ash four. Turner and Powell and Martin are just Great!!! You hear it a few times and you`ll have to agree that it`s Great.
This is NOT Wishbone Ash, this is a very poor imitation which does not do justice to the original, and whats the deal with the pope video that accompanies it??
Go out and buy 'Wishbone Four' with the original song on it and you will see what I mean.
this song is special. One of the best I've ever heard

It is a profanation of the holiness of the Pope of John Paul II.
Don't already more do something like that!
This song is beautiful but the video clip is iconoclastic!!!
